Vaccine......Yes or No?

Eventually… Yes or you keep wearing a mask and socially distance yourself unless theres proof we’ve eradicated the virus, etc. Thats not socialism, that’s just being cautious for others. Not like COVID is a brain tumor that only affects you.

And theres no mystery in the syringe… They provide the ingredients and proof of tests conducted so far in clinical trials. Not like they’re injecting people with a big question mark on the side of the box.

And when it comes to both COVID and the vaccines, we dont know long term possible effects of either but what we do know is theres a virus thats fast moving, evolving and killing people… So the best defense we have right now is the data we have from vaccines that seem to be helping more people than hurting people.

If the FDA wasn’t run by the government that operates at a snails pace, these vaccines would likely already be approved.

Yikes.

Putting the burden for the risk others carry on me is the definition of socialism

Alright, stop. No it’s not. Just stop. You sound like Alex Jones.

You have no idea what the long term effects are

Also, you’re putting your risk on others by not getting it.

I have no risk. You’re asking me to take on risk for others

You can spread it.

But I have no risk to myself. You’re not understanding my point at all. That is risk other people carry by being old or fat or whatever

It doesn’t just harm old and/or fat people.

Or whatever

I was unaware people were being forced to get a Covid vaccine. The Pfizer vaccine passed muster which means they deemed it acceptable based on the clinical trial data

• It was 95% effective at preventing cases of COVID-19 in both Latinos and non-Latinos.

• It was 100% effective in Black people.

• It was 94% effective in people who were at least 56 years old. (The older you get, the greater the risk of a serious case of COVID-19.)

• It was 95% effective in those who had at least one medical condition that made them more likely to develop a serious case of COVID-19.

• It was 96% effective for people who were obese, another condition that makes people more vulnerable to COVID-19.

You claim to be a doctor, scientist and engineer but don’t seem to be paying attention to or even really know anything about the science involved in the vaccines being provided by doctors. It really just seems like you want to rail on about freedoms. Freedom is a pretty simple concept but it seems to be a one way street with some who think it means they should be able to do whatever they want whenever they want wherever they want despite any kind of risk to others. You have the freedom not to be vaccinated and if other people know you aren’t vaccinated they have the freedom to not let you on their property or inside their business or to be employed by them. That’s freedom all around.

I caught the 'rona last year from the hospital where my mother was having cancer surgery. The whole house got it, but it wasn’t terrible. I had a bad migraine for 2 days and then I was all better. The weird thing that has stuck with me is my loss of appetite. I lost 35lbs since last year which makes me almost normal body mass. I have to force myself to eat sometimes because I don’t get that hungry feeling as much as I did before.

I had the virus when it first started becoming a problem. I work for NYC Transit and it spread like wild fire where I work. Before I got the virus I was taken zinc and Vitamin D3. I had a mild case of the virus, lasted a few days. So I guess the vitamins helped my immune system somewhat.

Other than more deadly mutations, this is The second most scary thing…we don’t know the long term effects of this thing. Even for those that didn’t have a severe episode.

I choose to take my chances with the downstream effects of a vaccine developed similar to many other vaccines that have a safe track record than a novel virus that is still in a lot of ways unpredictable and which we are still learning more about the long term effects every day.

Well I know if you die from a vaccine, you can’t sue anybody either  The government saw fit to give the pharmas immunity

Just because you don’t understand something, well it doesn’t make it bad. I’ll believe science and scientists over anything else.
