Interesting but not exactly shocking. I suspected we would see things being clearly tied together more after we saw the Vulture/Michael Keaton in the, “Morbius,” trailer.

I’d say it’ll never happen, but at this point anything is possible.
Knull is a major major possibility (eventually), and has been since Gor was announced in the new Thor movie. I wouldn’t be counting knull out at all…

When/if all that is confirmed I wonder how big of a spike ASM #300 will take. That book amazes me. Soooo many were made and high grades consistently go for thousands.

They already screwed it up by having Venom take place in San Francisco and Spider-Man in New York. Peter is too young to be a reporter for the Bugle and therefore conflict would never arise between Eddie and Peter anytime soon. It’s already way far out there from the source material.
All they have to do is have Eddie move to NY. It wouldn’t take much to have it all work. Now that Venom is a anti hero type I’m not sure if they will go the whole sworn enemy of Spider-man for long. Maybe just a slap fight between the two for half a movie then they team up to take down whatever the big bad is. I am looking forward to see how they do it.

Everything Marvel is doing is planned way ahead of time long before production ever starts. Makes me wonder what they started fleshing out when Sony and Marvel agreed to the current Spider-man deal. If not a decade long villain I can see Knull being shared and a bad guy for at least one film or maybe a short set of two or three.
from my understanding venom will be pulled into the mcu the same way, doc ock or green goblin is in spiderman 3, doctor strange spell connecting the multiverses. the end credit scene in venom 2 shows spiderman on tv, apparently what they show is from spidey 3 news cast with jj id imagine

I’m fine with this. Theres only so much they could do with Solo venom movies and having him face a different symbiote every movie would’ve gotten old fast

I agree about not fighting another symbiote, but I’d rather he not meet Spider-man yet. The origin of Venom in the movie is different from the comics; the major thing is that he hasnt bonded with Peter, and bonded first with Eddie. (Almost mistyped ‘bonded’ as ‘boned’ 
)
IMO, they should explore more about the symbiote itself. How did it come to be collected by Jameson, where did it come from, some space alien stuff. Then, they should introduce Darkhawk, as a bounty hunter, coming to get the symbiote because of a symbiote attack on Darkhawks planet. (Venom does tangle with Darkhawk several times in the comics).
