They’ve just started to come in, and at different times, at each store. So if interested keep an eye out for it - the 7/$10 (not the 3/$10 which is probably sold out !) at the different Walmarts around you.
Yeah, most walmarts around here all have opened 3 packs that are a mess. I was out of town traveling back home and stopped at a random one.
Curious if the Strange Academy and the Spider-Verse are the first round or recolored variants.
I know the first Spider-verse was a blue title, while 2nd was a white title.
Need to look back to see the Strange Academy. I thought first was red and second was blue title…but not sure.
The Walmart variant I have for Strange Academy is blue. Not sure if there was a previous Walmart variant (color).
Is this from a 7 pack? @lint looks to have gotten a red strange academy which is the earlier 2020 version and seems to sell for more on average than the blue (2021)…
Actually, my Walmart Strange Academy (blue) is from an older pack from last year or maybe 2019 - not the newer packs (7/$10). I’ll check on my Spider-verse Walmart variant (2019 too) and the Captain Marvel Walmart Artgerm (2019), but I havent compared them to the newer ones. I’ll get back to you about what I find.
I already had bought both, red and blue Strange Academy. The red one came out first because I bought that on ebay in May 2020. I think the blue one came out towards end of year in December. I had to resort to ebay because my walmarts weren’t carrying any copies. That’s why I was surprised to see a Strange Academy from the first 3 packs long ago.
Yes, but Strange Academy was not 2019 - it came out during the pandemic in 2020 because I remember buying on ebay (see post above) since my comic shop was closed and walmart didn’t have any, so I had to go to ebay and MCS for my books from March to May 2020.
Realized that after i saw the CGC/CBCS labels. Corrected.

Someone on the CGC forum mentioned that they found a 1:1000 Spec. Spiderman 300 in one of the seven - (7/$10) packs bought. Dont know if verified or not.
Depending on the books found - its a bit of a gamble for me to buy that many packs. Buyer beware !
If I see them in only grabbing strange academy and spider-verse 1. They are worth the $10 price alone. Everything inside is extra gravy or donations.
