Found an Amazing Spider-Man 55 2nd print 1:50 in a pack today. I checked the spines and didn’t see anything else that I recognized. Had the X Of Swords: Stasis 1:10 in it also. Not a bad pack!

Looks like DC’s new batch of books hit. New packaging, as the pack apparently include a mask of some sort. Funny, when I read that I assumed a medical mask. But, apparently more of a traditional superhero mask. Some rumors of incentives in the packs, although it’s DC so tread lightly. Also rumors of a bunch of Batman/Fortnite books in these.

Walmart has the 7 for $10 Marvel packs again. These are basically old stock that didn’t sell from past packs. You get two 3-packs with a single random book added.
I’m a sucker for these, so I bought two.
Got two incentives, but nothing of value. Party variant of Secret Wars and 1:10 for Marauders 1.
A few second prints. And my favorite, a Spirits of Vengeance lenticular with Giant Size X-Men on the cover.

Effectively dollar bin books, but I paid about $1.50 per, so oh well. I still like cracking these open.

Saw the new DC packs. At first, I thought that Walmart/retailer actually repackaged books from another lot, but then realized that one of the top books was a recolored Wonder Woman (Yara Flor) 1 book (Walmart variant ??).Not much interest in the DC packs though - the Nightwing 78 pack was the only one of interest to me, but it looks like its value/interest has dropped.
I wonder if new Marvel packs will have high ratio variants going forward, given variant gate. Didnt have a problem, with these variants being in there, and was happy to get some. But the store exclusives circulating, were IMO a scam. Never been a fan of store exclusives, but this sealed it for me !!

I’ve always liked that ASM Walmart variant. Under appreciated. It’s a nice rogues gallery cover.

Anyone selling any of the new Walmart packs? Bought from a few Chu-ers before. If anyone happens upon that ASM #33 Rogue variant let me know. Gladly take 2 of them if possible.

I saw a Nightwing 80 pack, but I’m not sure anything interests me with the DC packs. Be on the lookout for the Marvel 7 for $10 packs that SpideyHunter516 references. I think the Venom variant and the ASM Walmart variant are of interest, if interested

Are the front DC books in the new four packs recolored variants?
The Wonder Girl - Yara Flor - cover had a different color.
Went to walmart today…you guys got me hooked on these lol. I was surprised to see Strange Academy honestly.

Seems like the Walmart supplier is repackaging all previous inventory to clear out their stock ! Not sure if there will be a repeat of VariantGate !

Will do. It does seem that way because I’ve seen some of these 3 packs that were inside the 7 for 10 before. I was expecting 7 loose comics, not 2 3 packs and 1 loose.

Yeah, I won’t let it go, I really like Strange Academy. I have every issue including all of the character variants because it has been my favorite series.
