WandaVision

Awww hell. X-men books are about to go straight nuclear.

This was a :fire::fire::fire: episode. when she came out the field. LoL shes no joke. Yeah Marvel definitely let the beat build with this one. Sounds corny and cliche but “Make Mine Marvel”

Enjoyed episode5. Loved the ending although we all knew it was coming. Hope it sticks!

Sparky’s first appearance is seeing some love in Vision #6

Now is a good time to sell

And just finished the episode. Wow! I do not want to give away spoilers and ruin it for anyone but bringing in the X-Men Movie Universe’s Pietro is huge. Just totally bridged the gap between MCU and X-Men movie universe, which we knew would happen. I think Alana is correct and X-Men #4 could see a huge upside to this.

Yeah and this bridging means if he or Viz walks thru that bubble that’s it they’re permanent in this reality.

Yup. And once he bridges, then the universes have collided.

Loving where this show is going. Let’s just have the mysterious aerospace engineer be Reed Richards so we can fully blow the doors off the MCU.

I’m waiting on Wanda’s daddy to show up and ask her WTF she thinks she is doing

Man, just finished Episode 5 and I even more hooked than before!

I know I have stated this umpteen times now, but Marvel is seriously taking comics to a whole new level!

Although WandaVision is not technically comics, but is very heavily comics inspired, with all the nods and links to the comics. It is doing wonders to the market of back-issues for sure.

I enjoyed the dog’s name. What’s even better is that Tom King didn’t actually name the dog in Vision. He solicited the readers to submit names in issue #6 (2015) and the best reader submission was Sparky (issue #8).

I don’t believe that the Pietro that showed up at the end of ep.5 is the same Quicksilver from Foxverse.

  1. In Foxes universe, he was known as Peter. In WandaVision, he calls himself Pietro.

  2. Wanda didn’t bring Fox Quicksilver over herself. It was done by some other machinations, as evidenced by Wanda not controlling the doorbell when he arrived, and her surprise when she realizes who is at the door.

Given that it is a cliff hanger, I wouldn’t be expecting the arrival of this character to be exactly what it seems at face value.
Pietro, for all we know, could simply be another member of the town, who is now being forced to ‘act’ as Wandas deceased brother.

But why pick the same actor who was Quicksilver from the other Movie Universe?

Well said.

All I know is that Disney stock is back on the rise and that makes me happy.
Gamestop all sold, rolled into more Disney stock & another CGC shipment as well as a couple graded keys. I have nothing but faith in their plans at this point. I love being a nerd. Teased about my collectibles my whole life…who is laughing now.
Wife may get a 3 week Hawaii trip versus two!

Pietro could be a skrull…

@monopolyjackson I like that idea! I keep forgetting about that news and plan for Secret Invasion.

“She recast Pietro?” Great line…

For the exact reason that has occured - a fan frenzy of excitement. A red herring.

The character very well could end up being one in the same, I just don’t think it was set up as such.
