WandaVision

We know who wears the pants in Wooky’s household…

Wonder if the next episode will be Family Ties style or if they will jump to Full House style

Who says I’m not going to put the kibosh on it after episode 4? I have very little tolerance for never-ending, open-ended mystery after Lost. People can fawn over that show all they want, but it was structurally deficient and poorly planned. I called “Unitarian purgatory” from season 2 and we could have gotten there a lot quicker with a lot fewer bullshit storylines.

Wife started watching Lost long ago. I mentioned to a guy at work she was binge watching it. He said tell her to stop now… she’s wasting her time, they’re all dead. I told her that night, she didn’t listen. About 3-4 days later she comes downstairs, looks at me and says… “Your co-worker was right, I should have listened to you”…

In Feige we trust. Or at least I do. I’ve yet to be disappointed by anything in the MCU. Not counting some Hulu or ABC shows. I like it and am expecting it to get better every episode

Very slow build up, but I like the intrigue and different approach. My guess is those first few episodes will be better the second time you watch them (once you know who all the characters are).

I think it has gotten a bit better, and more intriguing, with each episode so far. Having said that, I can see how someone who isn’t too too familiar with Marvel lore may be put off by this slow start.
Wiccan and Speed are here now, they should be a catalyst for a faster pace (no pun intended) as I believe they ultimately will be what drives the antagonist in this story.

I’m hoping for a married with children style episode  would love to see Vision playing Al

Ok, can I just say this and then I’ll stop bitching for the night: Vision is one of the most powerful Avengers in Marvel history and so far in the MCU he’s been on a cooking show with Wanda, chumped by a Thanos cadet, then shoved into sitcom roles. Is there a point where he actually gets to unleash and be the badass he’s supposed to be? He can do so much more than just compute things fast and phase through solid objects.

In WandaVision, Vision isn’t real. Vision died in Infinity War. In this series, I suspect, Vision is just a figment of the reality that Wanda has created for herself, while she mourns the death of Vision. :man_shrugging:

The show should have been 40-50 minute episodes. Condensing the story down to less than 30 minutes feels rushed.

Nobody agrees! Some say it’s too slow, others say it feels rushed! Some love the sitcom style, others hate it! I am just curious where this will all go and think by the end it’ll be worth it. Maybe?

I like it.

I’ve watched 15 minutes of ep1 and that was enough for me. I hated it. A few days later I gave it a second chance and wow. I can’t wait to see more on Friday.

What was the difference?

Liquor.

I am watching episode 1 now. I don’t think i would continue watching if every episode will be like 1. It’s not that it’s bad. However, just not the kind of show I watch. That being said, I can appreciate the creativity/homage of episode 1. It’s a clever riff on mid-century TV.

Supposedly things start to change in a big way during Episode #4.

It starts to feel like a MCU movie about half way into episode 3

https://youtu.be/_jnLIq-Wu_s watch this… tommorrow episode is where the fun starts. All it took was some patience for the reveals to start. I’m hype for tonight.
