There are different Fan Expos all year long now. Was this stated to be for one city only? I assumed they’d be spreading these around to VIPs in several cities.

Foil cover. The second mattina exclusive likely won’t fetch $10 on its own. Nothing special about it.
They must know this otherwise they’d sell them separate. Trying to pawn off a crappy book for $25 by pairing it up with another more attractive book for $25…

How are people getting on with the condition of foils generally. I’ve been struggling to find foil variants with 9.8 potential. Scuffs, spots and colour-breaking tics (often on the back cover) are the common culprits.

I’ve received a lot of great foils BUT, I don’t plastic tomb anything. If grading is the specific draw to a comic, it’ll be more difficult with foils. As you stated, scuffs (and printing lines) are the ‘high-grade’ nemesis. Spine tics are usually storing/packaging/shipping issues.
Companies do seem to be getting better with the quality of their foil covers. My favorite comic places for foil covers are: Stranger Comics, Mad Love Comics and Szerdy.com.

Da Silva variant seems to have ceased to exist.
not exactly a practice exclusive to them, same as only selling the virgin with the trade which is how every exclusive store does it now.
I have a hunch this book will be under ordered. $6 price tag on the A/B covers. It was delayed about a half dozen times. Solicited twice.

Friend said there’s a bunch of 300 25th Anniversary Editions; one of which is a Miller cover.
I purchase, maybe 2 or 3 store variants a year and I believe that this one is from Comicsketchart?, but not even sure. It’s good Miller, though (as opposed to bad Miller) and I loved it, so got it.
