While at NYCC, I visited the Alex Ross booth.
I cannot tell you how much all the reps at the booth AND even those at the register were pushing this Ross Collectors Club. Telling me “how much incredible value on variants was included per box”. Uh huh. Right.
It was like I was at a Chevy Dealership in 1972 with “Joe” the salesman. It was seriously starting to piss me off.
Nothing will get me to not buy something more than a salesman pushing something on me - even if it makes sense … lol. I’m funny like that.

I saw a documentary about bears who like to use the restroom in houses and only use Charmin brand toilet paper. Or was that an ad?

I’m a fan of Ross but the mystery boxes just seem like a way to move less popular signed books and some unsigned comp copies, since he doesn’t do conventions.
