I’ve pretty much shutdown myself from anything and everything new.
One just can’t keep up anymore with the AB and general FOMO and Whatnot and these newfangled “hot” artists.
I’ve checked out from new stuff
I would just keep buying DC All-In #1. That one is supremely undervalued right now - IMO
My only gripe with that one is the Absolute trio being on the back cover and not the front. Other than that, it’s an important Absolute comic
Interesting…canceling sales if they see sales on eBay. Not sure how they know who is pre-selling…
Or are they saying third eye will cancel someone’s ebay sale? That would be even more impressive.
Yea… I saw that.
Not sure how that can actually happen.
I always wait til I have the product before putting up for sale
Hopefully the main objective is just to cancel extras for those who somehow procured more than 1, which was the limit.
If the objective is to cancel anyone reselling, that’s a slippery slope. I didn’t try for either book, but if someone buys, it should be theirs to do what they will.
Bravo to Third Eye !
Sold my set of three as soon as I had them. I would collect the Dragotta design variants if I could get any for non absurd prices, but these I wasn’t overly attached to.
=( … I guess no one is there to pick up a copy…
The site was such a pain, I never got one.
I will trade other ones I’ve got coming for one or other fun stuff tho, if any of y’all have an extra.
About ■■■■■■■ time…
I’m not really into exclusives, I’ve bought a handful over the years that interested me. So hot take here. I don’t really have an issue with shops charging more for a desireable cover. If it’s too expensive don’t buy it. If you want to read the book you can just get the cover A or a later printing. What’s next? Dictating how much shops can sell a ratio for? The market should dictate price. The one good thing that might come out of this is that there may be fewer exclusives produced.
Oh, I bet some retailers will be very angry with this.
But is DC really going to police/enforce this with everyone who is used to selling $50+ unsigned books? Are they going to look the other way when it’s the guy who represents their #1 MVP artist?
mark brooks and felix on suicide watch
That’s just it… is DC actually going to hold the popular kids’ feet to the fire? All of those guys, the Mann brothers, the Comic Sketch Art people – they’re all friends with Snyder, and they rep many of DC’s biggest artists.
I wonder if this will just lead to more books going to signed offerings and/or auction only.
Just add a special pen or button or sticker and say the up charge is for that’s said bundled item.
Haha…at those prices…easy pass!
