I’ve sworn off store variants. Well the 3000 print run ones that places like Frankies and Unknown and everyone else put out 2-5 times a week. I am sticking with the ones that make sense like most of the ones from Tfaw which are usually indie books with smaller print runs and fairly priced

I can dig it. All in all if YOU like the cover/artist/series and wanna buy it for the PC rock on. Unknowncomics will at least have cheap trades $10-15 that virgin cover doesnt really matter to me. Tfaw same $15-19 price range. It’s the $30-$40 for a trade $60-$70 for virgin that throws me off.

All these Miles covers are nice, but I don’t know why all these artists are homaging key issues on 25. Is 25 being hyped as significant?

If interested, Frankies’ SIKTC $16 (raw and virgin foil) options are on sale now if you’re a member of the Facebook group. 1pm central for everyone. No cover reveal until the end of this month, but the artist is Jeehyung Lee. Rarely disappoints.

Anyone know when tfaw is dropping their siktc variant?
Hive was selling the DoT cover early and gave 30-40 people a password to buy it. The password was leaked to other people and more copies will be up for sale later today. I really hate what these stores are doing to create a bunch of demand for books, so people can resell them on ebay. They lost me as a customer forever. I’m not supporting these tactics.

Same boat. I was completely oblivious to this drop. definitely would have tranned a virgin set.
Not until early May most likely. Don’t plan on putting it up for pre-order until the art is allowed to be shared.

The set wasn’t available yesterday and I already ordered the trade for my wife’s PC. Damn that sucks…
I did the same thing yesterday except I went for the Virgin CGC SS 9.8 as wanted the foil virgin. Checked today to see if all sold out but instead more available than yesterday. Went ahead and grabbed 2 sets, intend to not purchase other store exclusives (other than TFAW) for a long time.
