Once you start realizing that he was the one drawing all those little margin cartoons in all your favorite MAD issues and start reading his Groo, you start to understand his appeal. He’s not trying to paint hyper real Ross covers. He’s aiming for goofy.

People do not realize it but Fred Hembeck, who is mostly known for his cartoony style, actually did a ton of Marvel books in non-cartoon style and is an awesome artist.

Ya, saw the state of those black covers. They were pretty crappy on all the ratios at my LCS.

Well, I always hold off on any negative reviews until after you contact them to see how they handle the situation. You gotta give merchants and retailers the chance to make things right before just getting nasty with them…

This is why I said I was going to not order from them. Most publishers have no idea how to ship books. Make contact and get a replacement or a refund straightaway.
