After I finished the last episode of The Rings of Power on Amazon I started watching Hunters. It’s got Al Pacino and it’s set in the 70’s with Jewish survivors of the Holocaust tracking down Nazis and killing them. They then discover a plot of the nazis being organized and planning attacks on the U.S. and taking over. It’s ■■■■■■■ good.
Man. Two episodes into The Penguin and I’m hooked. This is what comic TV should be.
Caddo Lake, streaming on MAX.
A time-traveling puzzle piece. Had a blast trying to figure out the story. Very good movie.
Speaking of Max…. The have the new Salems lot on there which was good. They also have the classic one too if you haven’t seen it.
Just watched Caddo lake with my wife. Very good. Very twisty time paradox
I just watched last night, as well.
Very very good. I enjoyed it. Increasing gripping from beginning to end and well done.
(And I generally don’t like time travel stuff as it’s often so darn confusing)
Oh boy…
If you guys like David Cronenberg, this ones for you.
THE SUBSTANCE, with Demi Moore.
Absolutely bonkers and very intense. Bloody and gruesome.
I saw substance. Was good over the first two acts and think it went off the rails the 3rd and 4th act.
I’ve heard a lot of good things about, “The Substance,” as well. I have also heard it falls apart toward the end. That seems to be the case with a lot of modern horror movies. The latest iteration of, “Candyman,” for example is great until it basically crumbles in the last 15 minutes.
Welcome to the forum Cindy.
Cindy seems like she’s promoting an app and maybe not legit. Sorry to say…
Godannit man, I’m so gullible
Better to be a kind and trusting person than automatically assume the worst. Means you probably are an optimist and nice. I’m cynical and suspicious of everyone.
I mentioned this before, but hot damn is The Penguin good. The woman who plays Sophia Falcone feels like a lock for the Emmy. Collin Farell has been fantastic, yet she is absolutely stealing the show.
Marvel should pay attention to this series. This is what Daredevil should be.
Series versus movie but at 4 episodes in the wife and I are enjoying “TEACUP” Knowing the story makes it a bit less enjoyable for me…but overall its done well, good suspense, some good horror/gore etc.
If you like horror, sci-fi type stuff I do recommend it. The episodes are only about 1/2 hour though…so that is a bit of a bummer but at least they release 2 a week.
