I never saw the new, “Mortal Kombat,” from a handful of years ago. The latest one, “Mortal Kombat 2,” with Karl Urban as Johnny Cage looks legit fun. Should I watch the original wherever it is streaming? I think HBO MAX?

I finally got around to watching The Flash. I don’t remember what people thought about it when it came out, but I really liked it. I thought it worked alot better with the multiverse stuff than Deadpool/ Wolverine.

I recall that because everyone knew it was ending the current DC Universe that it landed like a wet fart in theaters, regardless of quality. I am behind on many flicks and still have not seen it, but I was curious as I dig Michael Keaton’s work and he makes a stellat Batman.
Can’t recall if we discussed this but “The Monkey” is now streaming. Based on the short story by Stephen King.
We really liked it as we enjoy campy horror (and I love SK as a writer). Saw it at the movie theatre which is unusual for us these days.
It’s pretty fun and unique and I recommend it.

I watched Together, which is one of the “top horror movies” in theaters right now. All I can say is the body horror is good, but damn, what a weird ass movie.
Alison Brie is in that, I recall. Loved her in, “Community.” That was obviously a comedy, and this looks pretty scary.

Although…the director is mediocre and the movie definitely needed more money for cgi/vfx…

KPop Demon Hunters is cute and the songs are quite catchy. Clarkson watches a lot of YouTube videos that feature the music and all the students at my wife’s school were telling her she should watch it so we did. It’s charming.

It got to be a bit much towards the last 20 mins.
It was a really good psycho thriller horror for most of the movie, and last 20 it kinda became a B horror movie. I get that there was a message, but it kinda went off the rails
A lot of modern horror films seem to fall apart in the last 15-20 minutes these days.
