Saw Project Hail Mary last night… great movie. Didn’t do the book injustice. Ryan Gosling played the role perfectly I thought. Even liked some of the minor changes they did from the book for the movie.
Im going to see it Sunday
Watched “Undertone”. Damn creepy. Suspenseful and scary.
Watching “They Will Kill You”. Awesome. Over the top Tarantino-esque horror comedy about a girl who takes a job at a hotel to find her sister. Spoiler, it’s a satanic cult. So damn good. Practical effects are fun. Bloody as hell. Will make you chuckle and squirm from the gore.
Watched Ready or not 2 last night. Sequel to the crazy first one. Fun gory movie. Both are worth watching. Especially if you watch them back to back like I did.
Watched They Will Kill You again with my wife tonight. We agreed that it was the most Tarantino movie not made by him. Such a cool bloody flick.
Then we watched Project Hail Mary. Wow. Fantastic film. 2.5 hours and didn’t feel like it. Rocky is so endearing.
Go read the book too… such a great read!
I feel like anyone who has seen it loved it but I barely saw any promotion for the movie.
Which one?
They are re-playing Stand By Me tonight and I’m definitely going to that! I LOVE that movie!
Stand by me and Goonies in my top 10 movies of all time.
Stand By Me, another Stephen King adaptation, great movie. The Chopper bit is timeless.
Hail Mary best line according to my 16 year old, “Fist my Bump” he can’t stop saying it and laughing.
“They Will Kill You.” I did not even know it existed until about a week or two before it’s release and I saw minimal advertising compared to other stuff.
Could be a non-release, where the studio has to put it out because of contract obligation but do nothing to support it.
I wanna see the shows where Wil Wheaton, O’Connell and Feldman are there… that would be awesome!
Wait, what? Too Google I go
Wil Wheaton I would just wanna hang out with and play board games now that I’ve been really big into them and he’s a big board game geek…
That would be ridiculously cool! I don’t venture out a lot, but I’d go to that
Yeah, totally wish there was a venue close to me here in Texas but I do have family in Indiana… ![]()
Did a double cheap $5 feature night last night… Saw Mando and Grogu and then Masters of the Universe. Felt like I was 6 years old again… Mando could have been a show or two during a season but it was still fun. Masters was cheesy fun, too many moments on getting all emotional and personal but the cheese factor won me over with this one… ![]()
Plus to go along with the cheap $5 price tickets for Wednesdays, after 9pm starts Happy Hour, can’t beat good beer for 16oz $4…
