What Movies are you watching?

I’m not a big Leto fan, so yeah, with his face all covered up as Skeletor, made you forget it was even him playing or in the movie. Worked out great I think…

I know I’m in the minority, but I thought The Odyssey was just ok.
Had it’s moments, cinematography was great.
Just got a bit tedious. Damn near fell asleep.
I grew up loving mythology and this just didn’t capture the magic.
It wasn’t supposed to per Nolan so that’s on me.

I also think I would have enjoyed it more with unknown actors. Too many stars, but that’s also Hollywood.

I fell asleep during Oppenheimer.

Was he Stinkor???

Ha!!! I’ll see myself out.

I’ll watch Nolan’s Odyssey flick when it is streaming, I think. He makes good movies. I just, in general, find sitting for a super long movie is hard due to having kiddos and such. I can break them into chunks I watch sometimes.

I thoroughly enjoyed the Odyssey last night.

I watched disclosure Day last night. Prettt good.

It was entertaining but at first I was like… where we going with this… and then it was very obvious and predictable for me. It’s like Spielberg was trying too hard to make it edge of seat type of movie but failed.

I said pretty good, pretty good doesn’t mean great, I didn’t pay to see it so it doesn’t matter, but it was still a fun watch

Yeah, it was certainly a movie I could have waited to see when it was free on Prime or something for sure… I think I used a free ticket I had for it as well. 2026 is the year of movie going for me… Seeing Raiders of the Lost Ark on Monday just because that movie is awesome and it’s a fanfest where you get a collectible glass as well. Not bad for being $10 ticket with some swag.

I watched it for free.

End of Oak Street was a fun summer movie.
You know what you’re getting going in but we enjoyed it.

It’s part of the Cloverfields universe

I thought JJ Abrams denied that it was related to that universe? Would be fun if it were.

I dunno. I saw a video yesterday saying that this is the neighborhood that disappeared that was mentioned in the one movie.

dont think so as someone that saw it

Finally saw Brand New Day. Maybe my favorite Spidey since Spider-Man 2?! Enjoyed it much more than expected.
