New song that just dropped from the former members of Every Time I Die and the former vocalist from Dillinger Escape Plan.
That 2:05 mark does its best to melt your face off…

The new Metallica Album is really good. Not as good as the old stuff, but it will pass lol.
Getting back into punk rock, a bunch of streetlight manifesto, misfits, NOFX and Rancid
A lot of very deep cleaning at work lead to a lot of heavy-ass music: Meshuggah, Rotting Christ, To The Grave, Lorna Shore, Hatebreed, White Chapel, Hypocrisy, Machinehead, Gojira, A Dark Halo, Behemoth, Amon Amarth to name (more than) a few. It was a good day!
Misfits, Nofx and Rancid are my jams. I am not a fan of NOFX newer stuff though, seems uninspired.
A long long long time ago your area was a hotbed for amazing punk and hardcore bands. Bad Brains, Minor Threat, Fugazi just to name a few. Dave Grohl even cut his teeth growing up around that scene.
I saw Fugazi at a $5 Knights of Columbus hall show. Have seen Bad Brains as well. Dave Growl grew up in the same clubs I go to and have seen him numerous times back in the day, he is friends with a friend of mine and eats at a local restaurant. We have reminisced about the good old days several times. Dave is a couple years older than me so he got to see some shows I was too young to see
I grew up on shows like that. $5-$10 shows in the smallest places but so much energy and connection.
Yes sir, saw so many god bands for $5 with the big black x on my hand.
Wynona’s Big Brown Beaver is such a badass song. I’m watching some group cover the song on youtube and the drummer looks exactly like Peter Griffin. Some guy commented " Peter griffin on the drums is wild!" and got 583 likes. Primus - Wynona’s Big Brown Beaver, Band Cover. - YouTube
I had a friend share a video on social media of a death metal band called Lorna Shore. It was at a major music awards show and it blew me away.
They are really really good. The pig sound blew me away the first time i heard it.
My youngest started talking about Tears for Fears. We went down the rabbit hole today. Everybody wants to rule the world.
Been cataloging music I buy from Goodwill and Dad’s collection.
May sell it off after I back it up to digital.
I just need these 2 cds from Time Life to complete my US Release Collection of “Singers And Songwriters” ! Now The UK release is a whole different ball of WAX.
A. Singers and Songwriters: 1969–1972
B. Singers and Songwriters: Hard to Find Hits
Today I put Time Life’s “Romancing the 70’s” on to digital and I found some in the set that have not been categorized onto discog.com (my CD want list is there)
I realized that Time Life Music repackaged the 2 CDs “Singers and Songwriters 1972-73” as “Romancing The 70’s Vol 6: My Love” ! All the same tracks. No effort to change any songs on any of the 2 CDS and so forth…
That’s funny, I saw Tears For Fears in concert the other day (they are excellent, highly recommend) and am watching a 1990 concert on YouTube as I write this. One of those bands that you know way more songs by them than you think.
I haven’t watched the Grammy awards in a few awards and had no idea Lorna Shore had been on. [EDIT: I see now it’s a joke. Ha!]. I’ll see them next month opening for Mastodon and Gojira.
I’m going to see Little Feat tonight ! “Weed, Whites, & Wine”
I recently discovered Asaf Avidan. Not literally but definitely a talented artist.
I’m into albums that I can play straight through without skipping a track. What albums can you listen to without skipping a song?
Led Zeppelin IV is an album you can listen to the whole thing.
The Satanist - Behemoth
Dark Adrenaline - Lacuna Coil
The Blackening - Machine Head
Book Of Shadows - Zakk Wylde
Catalyst - A Dark Halo
Ozzmosis - Ozzy Osbourne
The Eyes Of Alice Cooper - Alice Cooper
All are damn near perfect albums with no skipable tracks in my mind.
