Same here. Limit 1, boo
Oh, I guess it is. Usually they have it in the description of 1 per⊠but now yes, trying to add 2 pops up the limit. Oh well, still a place to order for those who missed out or still want a copy.
I respect shops limitations. Allows more to grab a copy.
Book is seeing a little love on Ebay. Iâm happy with my one copy. I went a little heavy on X-men #2 though.
Storage does become an issue lol. As does the wife haha. Itâs one of the many reasons to be selective about what to buy.
I wish you the best with this play, I bought this one too.
Havenât seen any sold on Mercari yet.
u might get them sooner if you walk to his new store
There is growing trend of Speculators with Diamond Accounts. those that tend to spend a lot find they can double their investment by buying at *cost ( plus shipping).
While I dont advocate doing this, it is fairly easy to get an account. and the benefits do out weigh the inital costs.
Food for thought.
Does anyone know if a community, like CHU, uses a Diamond account, and purchases for those the spec on the site? Kind of like a co-op? Mike got me thinkingâŠ
A lot of us purchase from the same place but no diamond account for the group thereâs a many shop owners here that can take your orders pre foc
And take ur money they shall
But alas, co ops fall under âbuying groupsâ which is forbidden under diamonds terms and conditions. So, hypothetically, if there was one they wouldnt admit it or advertise it .
Diamond frowns upon it. No, I do not have a diamond account.
It wouldnât be a âbuyer groupâ if you opened a Diamond account and just added a shop on this site that people could just order from. With all your traffic, it would be crazy not to.
I would hate you all after packing about 15 ordersđ
They could just hire someone to do the shipping. No big deal as long as theyâre picky about who they hire and monitor them for quality control.
With the type of collector this site attracts, I could see CHU selling crazy amounts of pre-FOC books via the CHU Store. Probably 10,000-20,000 a month easy.
I have thought about it. Donât get me wrong. But a couple of things. First I worry about the conflict of interest. Talking about comics I think will be hot and trying to sell them to you at the same time. People would think I am trying to âpump and dumpâ as the kids like to say.
When retail comes in on cover price books, and I pre-sell a lot of them, and they do come in damaged, or shorted, or allocated, and I am unable to fulfill the order for any reason, people would instantly go to âhe is selling them on eBayâ. I donât want to put the sites reputation in jeopardy.
Also, I run spoilers, itâs a big draw to the site. I am pretty sure the first time I run a spoiler on a book I ordered Diamond would yank my account.
The biggest thing though is I am one guy. I work full time in the social services field. I am active with my oldest sonâs baseball team and my younger sonâs scouting. I really do not want to pack up hundreds of orders a week to ship out. I donât sleep much as it is and cannot imagine having to check in books, sort them, bag and board, print labels, box up, and mail out. Perhaps in the future I might do it.
Why is XMen 12 being sought after? Serious question. Itâs not just because of the cover, is it?
Cover and origin. Though i still think #2 has his origin although short.
There are quite a number of first appearances in this book. Appearances of characters that will be integral to this story arc. No idea how many, if any, will stick longterm. Yes, and really cool first cover of the High Summoner(son of War and ?, and grandson of Apocalypse).
