This is my new favorite picture.
Yeah, I can see from my security cam that it’s a box…which means bubble wrap and such most likely…but any moisture leaking in is trouble, especially if it gets in and then bakes and creates a high humid environment inside the box for the next week…
My wife texted the neighbor and I believe she was able to recuse it…I haven’t checked, but not much else I can do.
I never understood why they don’t. Books slide out.
Yet another package delivered in front of my garage right before heavy rains. By usps whose supposed to be holding my mail…
At least this one was sent priority (insures) so They’ll be reimbursing me for the damage. A slabbed comic.
I can see the wilted wet package in my security cam…
If it makes you feel any better, couple years back when I did my 16 day RV trip around Western United States, I put a hold on my mail. My mailbox is one of those 6" x 6" x 12" boxes, super small, meant to basically be emptied daily… I come back after 16 days and the mailman just kept shoving stuff in there. Luckily most of it was just junk but it was so tight, most of it got ripped just getting out and I managed to cut my hand as well. So much for holding my mail…
Just found out my 11 copies of legends also have been sitting outside since 8/8…
No they’re not, I picked those up and have them listed on ebay right now… for only $5.99… 100% profit for me
Well, at least they went to a good home instead of the transfer station…
Whhhhhhaaattttt??? How did this happen.
This is painful to read. Get your money back shit happens. Was that your only 1:25? Maybe worth popping off on the ones for 200 on eBay if you can swing it as I imagine it ain’t gonna go lower any time soon.
That’s shitty that the post office and ups did that. Especially with crappy weather and fluctuations in temperatures.
The post office holds all my packages. I never put in a request they just know to not cram them in the box or leave them outside. My PO is Literally a minute drive from me so it works great.
If it’s UPS or FedEx I have my sister who lives down the road pick them up.
@D-Rog, if you move to Central Texas, you never have to worry about this phenomenon called rain… it only rains in May for the most part here.
Nobody wants to move to central Texas.
I know… I want to get the eff out now… use to be a great town here in Austin, seems like we’re attracting all the jerks now…
I checked out their new outlet in Queens today and it was pretty cool…lots of boxes to dig through, some wall books and dollar bins. No new books though, and they’re only open on Saturdays. I’m able to save on shipping though by picking my orders there.
So its books that aren’t on the site?
Yeah whatever they have in there is separate stock from what’s on their site. And I found stuff in the dollar bin that they have on their site at full price. Picked up 10 more copies of a sleeper pick I’m hoarding, but you guys will make fun of me.
Yes we will, but tell us anyway.
They’ve been in Marvel Future Fight since before they came to comics like new agents of atlas so there’s always going to be some cross collecting there.
