WTF Midtown Comics?

I’m most interested in Arachknight. 1st appearance is listed as #3 but #4 is 1st full and cover. Even though he wasn’t created as part of the Spider-Verse, I’d love to see him pulled in. If that happens, this book goes boom.

I had 5 copies of DKDM Legends ordered through Midtown. They cancelled one order for 2 copies. The other order never came to me and has a tracking # NA. I sent email but have heard no response.

straight BS.

They won’t answer until Monday

It was limited to 3 I believe.

Yeah, seem if you made multiple orders under the same account, they were cross checking orders. I had a copy minus from an order cause I assumed they were gonna limit it and after I saw they were limiting to 3 per, I did another order to add 3 to make it 4 total.

My order with 3 on them has a tracking # of NA. Midtown better have some good answers on Monday.

They won’t. Are you saying you got the email claiming “processing is complete” but now you’re waiting on shipment? Cause I’ve noticed that after processing is complete, their system auto updates to “shipped” but that’s not the case until it gets a tracking #.

I got the email saying process is complete about a week and half ago. Should not take 2 weeks to mail comics - especially since other orders of mine seem to go out much quicker.

Sure it does… why do you think we started this topic that’s titled… “WTF Midtown Comics”

If you scroll up, you should see my note where I had a package that finished processing and it took 8 days before I got a tracking number. In total, the comics took almost 30 days to arrive after processing was completed.

My other account got the legends variant last week the account I bought it first on had one cancelled still waiting for the other to ship. Which they said should be shipped soon last I spoke with them when they cancelled one.

It is really funny they sent my order lightning fast for the new accounts first order. But my account that’s been a customer for 10 years is still waiting and was the first out of anybody to order and complete the purchase.

They shipped my death Metal legends finally today for my main account.

nice! im sure that is a relief. I just got my 2nd copy Saturday and i was so impressed with the guy who sold me it. Not only a ridiculously great price on it but he looked over all his copies to find me the best one he had and its just an absolute pearl. i didnt look inside but 9.9 potential by the looks of it. not that ill get that grade im just saying it looked that great. Im ready for more Robin King, myself.

I am still waiting. Sent multiple emails.

Seems as though all my books left in the rain last week were packaged well…no water damage.

However my legends copies from poor boy all had a nice round corner (lower, left). Wonder if that is the “damage” shops were complaining about. I’ll post a pic in the main legends thread.

Midtown shipped me nice copies, including a 9.8 potential for the 1:25 cover!

That’s a relief that they weren’t damaged. Sucks about the Poor Boy copies though

So today I get two orders from Midtown Comics I placed on August 5th, Processing completed on August 11th… woo hoo… didn’t take an entire month to arrive from order -> processed -> shipped -> arrival… but then I realized, I’m still waiting on my orders (two of them) from July 29th that were finished processing on August 4th (the day before my August 5th were even placed) but I didn’t get tracking info sent until August 17th (12 days to pack and then ship out, that’s the time they claim it takes to arrive after shipment, 3-12 days)…

I have had no luck with orders lately. I placed an order with Super7 for two figures from their sdcc event. One came damaged. I have been arguing with them back and forth about getting a replacement. They will only issue a refund if the entire order is returned. Ok screw them. The whole order is going back.

Placed an order with Titan for 5 Sdcc Peach Momoko variants of Horizon Zero Dawn. Shipped in a floppy envelope with no protection. In addition to charging $20 freight for the books. Talk about a rip off the books were roached when they got here.

Placed another order with another publisher that I order from all the time. I placed the order on July 23. Books are still not here. The tracking says they are in Oklahoma since the 4th. Placed a PayPal charge back. The publisher sent a message via PayPal dispute that they cannot control the mail. Then private messages me asking me what is up. I note that I have let them know starting two weeks after that no books were received. And after almost 30 days there are still no books. Said sorry wasn’t trying to be a jerk. Was told I was being a jerk.
