TT 12 is the BWL book because itās first full (and cover).
Metal was a shadowy cameo at best.
For Solem, Wolvie is first in the story and a full. Itās first app. But the market (right now at least) has picked XForce as itās got the cover.
Itās simple, get both.

I think this will be similar to asm 252 and marvel team-up 141 (for first appearance of black suit Spidey), where both books will be diserable with 1 a little more so (asm 252). Most likely will be x-force 13 due to having the first cover. Just buy both books and your good either way.

Technically Marvel Comics Presents #72 1st Weapon X takes place before Hulk #180 and 181 if we are going by first in story if thatās even Wolverine first in story anymore. I donāt see it over taking Hulk #181 anytime soon.
Really not a relevant comparison as those books didnāt come out on the same day.
Maybe he was speaking of the other cameo which is shadowy. Although I forgot which book it was The Casting maybe?

No one is arguing value. Iām pretty sure everyone can see what the market has decided is the book of value. But by definition, Wolverine 6 is the first appearance. There is nothing to debate.

But people are comparing this to ASM 252 and a book that came out two weeks later that just had its cgc label removed after being wrong for the last couple years. So in that sense itās the same

Just get both and let the market sort itself out. The secondary market is weird and unpredictable sometimes.
Todd is correct. I was thinking of casting. Metal still a cameo though. Different scenario then this one.
