Yes but X-Force #13 came out same day… so yes, Wolverine #6 additional prints that might have him on cover will be a pickup, it’s not as special since it won’t be first cover appearance.
Sure… But Wolverine #6 is the first appearance.
its not, when both books came out on the same day…man this arguement is getting old
I guarantee you that CGC will label WV #6 as first appearance and will label X-Force #13 as first cover.
Yes, nobody is not saying otherwise though.
Wolverine #6 is first appearance.
X-Force #13 is second appearance but first Cover Appearance.
Wolverine #6 additional prints with Solem on cover is first appearance reprint but second third cover appearance… it’s just not as special. Still grab a copy though… but it’s just not as spec worthy since he was on another cover and in fact, two different covers that pre-date this additional printing.

Explain Teen Titans #12…
Friendly wager on how CGC labels the 2 books? How about $100? Who said anything about value.
Same day, one was a shadow while the other was first cover and story within…
This one is a bit different since Solem was more than a shadowy figure on last page in Wolverine #6.
I’m not debating market and value though when I say Wolverine #6 over X-Force #13… clearly, X-Force #13 is in higher demand and has smaller supply, making it the winner in that department.
Good lord, sometimes I wonder if people read what the person wrote before replying. Did I say anything about value? I stated how the books will be labeled because WV #6, in the XOS story arc, IS the first appearance , followed up immediately, in the story arc, by X-Force #13. Yes, XF #13 is the more valuable book.
That’s just market/value debate, not first appearance.
Release date > story chronological order
Unless released on the same day of course.
Then it goes to cover, so we must put this information all in a master variable equation.

What is a “first appearance?”
For Solem? It’s Wolverine #6.
Sorry, couldn’t resist a good Matrix Morpheus meme…
