Yasmine Putri Cover Spec

Everybody is highlighting a new artist now. I love when people use the word “hot” when trying to convey they like something instead of just saying “I really like this.” I usually see this when somebody is selling or marketing for a friend. Everybody thinks this book is “hot”. Reminds me when I did door to door sales and I would say, “your neighbors bought 3 of these and we thought you might be interested too”

Whether you like her work or not, it’s hard to argue that some of her work is hot when it’s selling for 10-15x cover price.

It’s tough to predict which of her covers will heat up next since there doesn’t seem to be any rhyme or reason about what’s driving the interest.

Aside from the chatter on the forum, the Nightwing 54 was the first to kick it off. I’m curious why

A lot of chatter. Lower print run. Striking cover… all the above? Outside of any of those I don’t think there is anything special such as a popular first appearance. I’m guess though.

Putri covers are hit or miss. Some are good, most are meh.

Putri’s HoX/PoX connecting covers are my fav.

I like some of those covers but not enough to buy, with my money and say they are “hot” like you did. I often right click on the image and download to a folder on my desktop if I like the cover. I just found it funny that you used words like ‘pop next’ as if any of them really ‘popped’, "flavor of the month’ - not that either. Good stuff though - thanks for highlighting.

lmao!!

If you’re not interested in making money on these or other books, that’s up to you. You can just move along to what interests you. The purpose of this forum is to share info on comics that are heating up. Kinda says it right in the URL. If this one isn’t for you, great. No need to be negative about my terminology.
