Since I have no copies I am going to say it is market manipulation

This is nice. There’s a 1:50 virgin of the same cover, but I’ve never been a fan of ratios reusing cover a art.
The weird thing is no one appeared to give a crap about these covers for so long. Also NightWing and Red Hood in general spec wise.
As with a lot of low print covers…over time they eventually make it into collections as PC copies…(I’m one of those…but I got mine when they can out). Demand, although small, is consistent enough to keep driving the price up.
Everyone has their price…and as the price rises a few copies trickle out here and there.
