Yup… SIKTC #1 8th Print
Thats SIKTC xover reminds me of the Friday the 13th cover. Just cant remember which one
Meh. I read issue #1 of Shadecraft and it was boring.
I’m so glad someone else thinks that way as well… I felt like it was written for my 12 year old tween.
I got halfway through issue #1 and stopped to unsub from it before finishing the issue.
Is it just me or does all this BRZRKR / SIKTC business stink of 90s comic industry implosion?
Maybe Marvel and DC won’t get hurt too bad because they are mega conglomerates but smaller publishers like Boom, Image, etc could get seriously hurt.
Yes
WTF? Reminds me of the time that person caught some Hurricane Andrew air in a ziplock baggy and sold it on eBay for like $150 or so as Authentic Hurricane Air…
My shop was very confused. They said I’d get one if they had one if I bought issue 2. But they have no idea what’s going to happen.
They are not one to mark up copies. I actually find one-per-store variants quite often on the shelves. Or ratio variants on occasion.
We’ll see what happens. I need to talk to them to see if they know what’s going to happen.
@D-Rog That’s sort of the position my shop took. They know what I buy/have bought, and they always take care of me. I’m honestly not going to lose any sleep over it either. If I get one, great…if not…I’ll move one. I trust they will do what they can/do right by me if at all possible.
I actually got extremely lucky with this whole Bzerker book anyway. The day issue #1 came out, there were soooo many variants that the “one per store” just really didn’t have much hype. I like Brooks, had a bit of extra money that day, liked the cover the most of any of them, so I figured “why not”. Paid all of $29.99 for the book. Can’t beat that as it seems to be the “one” and it has absolutely skyrocketed.
Missing the green…idk…
I thought we liked Marvel because they were better than this change-the-color-reprint dance?
At least it’s not Gleason whoring his art out this time…
But it is… in a way
At least two shops by me do not, and never have, played any sort of spec game. Their product is on their shelves to be sold at all times.
Marvel chooses the art for the 2nd printing, not Gleason.
