I got some Silver Certificates legal tenders… I really wish I could exchange such money for actual silver but the government says… no way!
Are the comics good? The company does dumb gimmicks but I like the comics usually. Shame so few people can (legally) read these.
I don’t know obviously, but a guy I know locally got a copy of one of them and it definitely seems like it was printed differently than their other books. Doesn’t have quite the quality for cover stock.
Not saying Dinesh printed them, but it may have been done at a smaller/new printer with lower MOQs than typical.
Seeing what these have gone for maybe I should have mailed in my pins instead of selling them…
You did God’s work not encouraging this füç£Ery.
If that’s the case, Bad Idea just seems like it was a scam from the beginning if they’re resorting to such tactics.
When you go from touting a good comic experience with reading good stories to just playing the collectible spec marketplace games for your likely own gain, you lose every small ounce of respect from me.
As much as I like Matt Kindt and some of the other writers they’ve had, I can’t back this publisher anymore. No longer will I talk about Bad Idea’s books in my picks and spec’s. They are… DEAD TO ME!
They they go again…
acetate wrap over a CGC 11.0 one-of-a-kind remarked by Dinesh himself
You can’t keep a good company down!
I mean, they are the ones who faked their, “Death,” but yeah.
Well, you can’t keep a company down
Whatever, hope this atleast pops up demand a bit for the first round of bad idea books so I can dump em.
I immediately let out an audible “ughhhhh” when I saw them post they were back.
“Comics, once again, needs us.”
I’d dispute that claim.
There’s a shop in my town that has just piles and piles of Bad Idea books. While the paper quality was exceptional, and I think people liked some of the stories, the high price tags on these killed them. They can’t get rid of 'em now.
Pre-order all seven of the BAD IDEA TWO: PART ONE titles with your store. You are pre-ordering blind. No titles. No story details. No creative teams. Only the cover price and number of issues
No thanks.
They pulled this gimmick before. So much for new ideas.
I agree with @Joe about the books being great physical quality and having some fun stories, but the spec is fading on Bad Idea at the moment. I don’t want to blindly order some comics, I’ll wait till they hit shops and maybe buy the ones that look appealing.

3 - Pre-order all seven of the BAD IDEA TWO: PART ONE titles with your store. You are pre-ordering blind. No titles. No story details. No creative teams. Only the cover price and number of issues will be released by September 7th. Consult your store for their pre-order requirements.
4 - If you’re one of the first 10 people to pre-order all seven titles at your store, you will be awarded a swanky BAD IDEA TWO: PART ONE redemption sticker."
Yeah, that’s a massive pass, buds. How did those stickers and pins work out last time?
I fixed this.
Nobody wants to wade through endless emails to figure out what the hell is coming out of a publishing house. Just release titles, cover images, writer names, artist names, FOC date, and in shop date like everybody else. Most local comic shops don’t have the type of spare capital to gamble on these shenanigans.
and this is why I will pre order these since I have more than one local shop that deals with Bad Idea. People can’t help themselves with the FOMO on release week. Look at the damn donut book. If there is zero heat, I’ll eat the $100-200. I made a lot more than that on the first round of these stupid books.
