May want to check with your local shop to see if they are still participating. I reached out to my shops today and the two shops that participated in phase 1 didn’t bother applying this time around.
The current list on their site is incorrect and is supposed to be updated tomorrow.
More rules and hoops to jump through this time than before. One shop said they didn’t have the time to deal with it.
Yeah. Literally the only other publisher that comes to mind.
I think they have another book coming out one of these months?

That publisher who bought the rights to Youngblood out from under Rob Liefeld and has yet to publish anything while tricking artists and writers into working for it is pretty crappy. Forget its name.

I’m in the same boat. They’re on the ignore list now… Like Black Mask comics and WhatNot’s comics (yes, I saw their first book in Previews and skipped right over it), they’ll never make my weekly picks and or spec any longer. They’re dead to me and deserve no media coverage, even if it’s negative.

Im just sharing info. I absolutely HATE Bad Idea and their business model. The gimmicks, the immature way of distributing comics, and the fact they clearly only want their comics–turned-into-media-deals.

I’m over it too. Eniac was a good read. Very well done. I could of lived without the rest. I think The Lot wasn’t a bad read either. Eniac was the best they put out.

@Anthony, Bleedingcool really does the typos like nobody’s business.
Many of the shops in my area that participated with Bad Idea are not bothering with this new round. I asked out of curiosity. Maybe 2 out of the 5 or so that did the first time.
