About Batgirl, one of the standouts from the film according to test screenings was Brendan Fraser’s Firefly.
And BatKeat only had 5 scenes in the film.

What I’m wondering is how badly the bridge is burned between WB-Discover and anyone who worked on this movie? Directors, actors, producers, composers, etc. I’d be pissed.

Probably a few, but most got paid and have moved on. Like I’ve stated before, you know how many shows are produced and created that never make it to any type of screen? It’s very common so I don’t think most take it personal when it gets shelved. Perhaps the up and coming actors are the ones who least benefit from this as it could further their careers.

Not many. It is highly unusual for a program to be produced and not seen by an audience.
Shows that make it to the production stage are generally seen. The pilot episode is the turning point for most shows. Many shows are developed but never see production.
Not too many studios can afford to produce a lot of content that never sees any return.

You’d be surprised at the amount. Having a wife work in the industry with first hand experience gives me a lot of insight of what’s going on.

Heck, even sometimes they don’t even get to actually filming and the project is scrapped… That happened once on a movie she was working on. Renee Zellweger was even already tapped for the lead part. They had behind the scenes crews show up, start working for like 3 months and right before filming was suppose to start, blam, done, over, shelved!

Yeah but there’s a difference between a pilot and a movie that costs like $100,000,000. To just scrap it and not to try and recoup some of that by releasing it seems stupid.
