Black Panther 2: Atlantis vs Wakanda

Old news…

Except @Anthony was wrong and that’s Silhouette who first appears in New Warriors #2 from 1990.:joy:

Already close to $50 asking prices

Yeah, this book would qualify for a hot list. The first meeting of two black girls who may end up being Black Panther and de facto Iron Man??? People will sell after news breaks and it will make top 10s. Of course it will.

Wow that book popped.

First meetings are all the rage now when people can no longer afford a first appearance.

I believe most cool down unless it’s like hulk vs. thing monumental.

Book hit the KCC Spec Deck alert so
It went from ‘dead spec’ to top 10 list spec :rocket:

Then many of them drop back to dead spec weeks or months later, lol

That book was not dead spec, but okay.

If you’re digging and speccing, might as well hunt for Riri and Kamala as well…

That seems true but I feel like it’s just FOMO. I would have thought 2nd appearances would be more desirable (maybe they are, I haven’t really analyzed). The first Shuri-Ironheart book skyrocketed overnight (which sucks for me because that was the last Ironheart I needed to complete the run …)

Moon Girl and Riri is a good one you can find in bins. Look out for Moon Girl & Devil Dinosaur 15.

It’s a dope cover as well.

All the Moon Girl comics have really low print runs, amazing it lasted for as many issues as it did. Great recommendation!

Bought 2 copies of this cover on Monday. Just got shipped out thurs.

Ironheart #9 is now a $150 book raw. I am listing my copy this weekend.

Yeah, sell those now. I just can’t imagine that book having that kind of value for long. Kind of the very definition of minor key.

Is this their first meet-up?

It looks like it. CBSI wrote it up in 2020 and said the same.

People are so dumb. That’s 10x what its worth.

@locksmithcomics Absolutely agree on that book! I just snagged one of those not long ago.
Moon Girl just another series that you almost need to buy any of them you come across. You just don’t see back issues all that often for it (at least I sure don’t).

I got lucky just in the last few weeks with a shop that had some. Moon Girl is just another “buy it now or regret it later” 100%. Even if I have to overpay a bit now I do so without hesitation in most cases.

I have 11 copies of Iron Man #9 and 3 copies of Iron Man #7 and not a single one cost me over $80. So paying a $150 for this book because they can’t afford first RiRi is flushing your money down the toilet.
