The promotion is there to help move a massive quantity of brzrkr 1 and inflate #2. They probably made promises to Keanu reeves when making the deal to begin with.
Just look at eBay sales for brzrkr 1 lots of people following the rules. They are just trying to move as many as they can.
The whole promotion is a mess. My LCS didn’t even no about this until most of the #1 foils were sold. I have a feeling that when the second issue foil hits the stores it will be a shit show.
Yup, when people start showing up to claim their “free” book and are told, “oh, you have to buy that” or “sorry, we don’t have any” (but we have them at secondary market prices on eBay)…

Yup… I remember them trying to ask for abnormous amount of money for their Walking Dead #115 one per store variant… looks like they’re still sitting on it, asking over $500 for it… I bought mine for like $70 or so back in the day and at Walking Dead peak sold for like $150. I don’t recall these ever going for much more… so Midtown can sit on that one forever…

I heard last night that Boom decided to change their name to something more catchy. They originally tried FOOM but marvel had a problem with that as they own a trademark on it going back to the 60’s, so here is what tested well with the audience…
