CBCS Pickups

The reality pic is much more cleaner and organized than what i imagine the cbcs warehouse where they store your comics would look like.

Nice staging by Beckett. Now open the doors. Show us what’s really inside…

Don’t ever let anyone say public pressure and accountability doesn’t work.

They obviously took their time to gather some facts before responding and realized they have a problem…rather than cave to pressure and tell the masses they’re wrong or some other knee jerk reaction in attempt to control the situation.

Glad they acknowledged the issue, but… it shouldn’t have taken 13 months after submission from your (probably?) biggest long-time customer who finally felt compelled to let his customers know he was getting the runaround from the top down.

Anyone else have any of the non slabbed, graded/sealed CBCS books?
Always thought that was an interesting angle they did.
I paid less than they go for raw so I didn’t mind when I bought them. I had a couple of other books like this that I ended up submitting to CGC and the grades were the same after slabbing.

Interesting. I guess people must think sellers under-grade?

I have a Marvel Special Edition #2 raw grade 9.2.

14 days…. Or didn’t realize they had express, express plus and super.

Oh my god! 490 working days for a press. That’s like 2 years!!

Its a marketing scam. We all know they are pushing the higher tiers. And we all know people submitting books are going for the higher tiers, because of the turnaround times.

Seriously. Who in da ■■■■ is going to wait 224 days for a graded verified signature ?

By comparison Avery Pressing is working on books submitted 3/1 (6 months).

I used to use CFP Comics but they look to be pressing books from 10/1/21…not sure is that’s updated though.

Yeah, I’ve said they don’t want to grade moderns anymore…and I know their pressing, although top notch, has always had long TATs.

There are several reputable pressers out there that cost waaaay less, and even pass on membership savings if you have them forward the books to CGC/CBCS for you.
