Interesting! Thanks for the info!

low-print early Jeff Dekal covers. Really only matter if you’re a Dekal completionist

Those are awesome. Recently met him at a more relaxed con. He was honestly one of the nicest, genuine creators I’ve ever met.

that’s nice to hear because i had the opposite interaction with him at wondercon

Not a traditional comic book but “Fannies from Heaven!” on the cover is too good to pass up. Hardie-Kelly publisher, 11/1941.

Prize Publications, 12/1941. Cheap purchase to go with the other one.

Nice, the Jeehyung Lee set is on my to buy list, passed on both of them for £35 and regret it now, should have grabbed them for that at the time. Will have to sell more Spiderboy crap to get them now. :stuck_out_tongue:

Grade didn’t matter to me and I didn’t have it pressed because of the fact. I like how it looks.

That’s cool. In all honesty if it’s for you, grade doesn’t matter. Even still, if you end up selling it, the venom sketch will still bring you money.

1954 “infinity cover” and file copy for cheap. Breaking the fourth wall!

Picked it up for $76 + $20 shipping. The qualified label likely dropped the price. “Manufacturing Error” where there were no original staples. I think it is possible 100% of these were done without staples so would it really be a manufacturing error?

Almost no info on this book online but per mycomicshop.com “This 15 page, all in color giveaway was for the kids whose parents shopped at S.S. Kresge Co.” No cover price so may have been produced without staples to save production costs.

I didn’t think manufacturing errors that apply to all issues should be getting a qualified label. If you use vintage staples you should be able to get rid of the qualified label.

CGC has only graded one of these and I cant find another copy online to compare. Either the printer made an error on this copy or the staple was never intended for all copies. Being a retail store handout I could see it being done without staples to save money.

Darth Vader 15 for $65 + $19 shipping, purchased for opening bid. Don’t mind the 8.5 as just wanted the Darth Vader remark to go with my Gist Yoda remark that was way more than $65.

Yup I was going to have him do a remark on one of my books at SDCC. But after he told me the price, I just said nevermind lol.

How much does he charge for the smallish remarks?
