Comic Investing/Speculating During A Recession

Along with the cost for those goods and services being produced by those wages.

How does that factor in?

Like I said back on December 27th, you’re about to witness massive deflation for goods.

Combine that deflation with rising wages and our problems are solved.

Well, just get my damned eggs back to $1 a dozen and I’ll shut up and buy more comics!

I do expect more inflation for services. But the majority of those services are highly discretionary.

Markets playing game of chicken with Powell… todays action def had short covering feel and sideline cash going to work.

But tomorrow is another day.

Your earlier chart can that be applied to DC key books under Gunn?

Energy sector names have made record breaking profits BUT if crude oil breaks down that will hedge our egg purchases :chicken:

Natural Gas prices have done down a bunch BUT this not helping people on main street :rage:

My daughter wants chickens (as pets). Been pondering the idea…I know so many people that own chickens now.

It will. Here in Texas, where electricity is similar to how you used to shop around for long distance phone service back in the 90’s, electric rates have gone down 40% in the last few months.

Rates were averaging about 18 cents per KW, I just signed a 3-year contract for 11.

I know, I feel like we are in the Hawaiian islands with how much eggs are. I don’t even want to know what they are going for over there. I wonder if Alana is trading silver keys for a dozen eggs.

Or she traded in all her comics for chickens and is living the good life…

Eggs are $9 a dozen in the Baltimore region.

I got my own cage free (except when they sleep) chickens that give me organic eggs. Again, this goes back to pre-covid preparation when I felt something was gonna happen…

You finding any issues with chickens not laying eggs? Apparently they have linked it back to chicken feed. Weird huh? They also are now saying eggs give you prostate cancer and blood clots. Really a strange world we live in.

They were not laying eggs back in December… I think it was because of the cold…

As for prostate cancer… you wouldn’t believe the amount of pomegranate juice I drink.

I had just gotten out of high school and was working at the Hyatt when the Head Bellmen there told me how they treated him for it, it put a fear in me so bad I’m taking everything to prevent it.

I am getting to a point that I really don’t know what to believe. I know there are States that won’t allow collection of rain water and make it illegal because of the so called Acid rain and even see’ing what Flint Michigan and the Navajo Rez (or any Native American Reservation) for that matter, even The Ashtabula water in Ohio and all their contaminants… I dunno what we are doing to our Plane3T anymore Trust is hard…

I think I may need a little more tinfoil for my head too…

@CRUZZER Born and raised in Flint, MI—family still there. The situation actually hasn’t improved all that much for a great deal of the people there that can’t afford to get out. The long term impact on every individual who was drinking/still drinking that water is horrible. Still zero accountability for it either (at least for the ones actually responsible versus the scapegoats)

I been using a water distiller for about 7 years now. I don’t trust no waters from a bottle or straight from the tap.
