Looking into this seller they have huge amount of feedback for mostly office supplies. They’ve suddenly come into possession of hundreds of key books. Seven copies of AF15, Nine copies of TOS39, Ten ASM1, etc. I’m pretty sure this persons a scam artist regardless of all the feedback on the account. Pics are probably others books they image searched online because there all taken much differently. Some in hands, some scanned, good pics, bad pics, etc. All sorts of gold and silver as well. If they don’t ban this person they’re completely incompetent.
Had a $100 Variant up on ebay for $125. Either catch the sale on the upswing or catch someone who wants to offer market price.
Guy hits me up with a $75 offer. I countered no way that’s like 50% off. So I shot him an offer for $115 to see if he was serious or not. He raised his offer to $90 with a message saying essentially it was in my best In my best interest to take the $90 offer. I responded back I am not a fan of strong arm tactics so I counters at $115 again. He comes back at $90 telling me again I am trying to rip him off for not selling him a $100 book for $90. I responded back that fair enough and countered at $100.
While I was waiting for his response someone else came in and bought the book. Ain’t Karma grand.
Yeah and all the listings that were taken down yesterday are back up today. Had to report them again this morning. I told eBay I should be compensated for doing there job. Lol.
Actually looks like they hacked another account and relisted them. New account is sootysmtg. These have to be hacked accounts and I’d hate if it happened to me.
jos-3757 Bid on an item last second and won. 5 days No pay, I sent a Message saying I was canceling sale and he/she/they responded and asked if they could pay on Monday. Still no pay. Canceled and reported buyer to eBay and Chu.
So I got a PGX 9.8 The Fade Out #1 off eBay that had to be returned. One of the corners wasn’t sealed so it could be opened like a book. Serious scratches and gouges in the case that were so bad they left shadows on the book. Along with a real sticky residue in the top corner. The seller has now relisted the book and makes no mention any of the damage.

Non paying bidder, asked me to cancel.
If you have a non-paying bidder who asks you to cancel, don’t do it… Let the time for payment expire so that eBay puts non-paying buyer strike on their account. It’s my understanding that if you agree to cancel the order, they don’t get the strike.
Only thing is I doubt Ebay gives a rats you know what about non paying buyers. Seems to me Ebay only punishes sellers for whatever reason…not buyers. I could be wrong but personally have never seen a buyer get more than a slightly stern email for screwing with sellers…if that.
Just had a ignorant Buyer “illuminatellc” claim comic was damaged, sold comic in NM condition but they wanted a “Mint condition”. Photos of cover, back, corners, and spine were provided and did not request any follow up photos before or after bidding.
