Ugh. I just had a buyer request a cancellation. His reason?
“I’m really sorry I didn’t mean to put my max bid so high.”
Any advice? This was a seven-day auction that went way above my buy it now price. Sigh.
So if I accept the cancellation request, I have to repost my auction again? Is that how it works? Doesn’t seem fair…
I don’t know if it’s still a thing, but there used to be a way to make an offer to the 2nd highest bidder. You can see if that is an option.
