See, you would all be banned for a week on facebook. But I personally like terroristic threats against Arachnids.

Nooooooooo!!! All of those must be saved… catch and release unless they’re not poisonous, then they’re allowed to stick around the house to eat up all those smaller furry mice and such.

Omg, I love snakes too lol. As long as they’re not poisonous I really don’t see the problem. Mice and rats I truly despise, vile disgusting creatures. Keep the snakes imo

Biting insects & insects that suck blood have been, and will always be #1 on the contempt/hatred/must kill list for all of eternity.

Have I told everyone here the story about how I found a snake in my attic recently, and it bit me repeatedly?

I had squirrels getting into my attic this spring…I closed off the entry and was checking the traps to see if I caught any that didn’t make it out…poke my head up the hatch to check and there it was starring at me.

It bit me when I tried to remove him. I had to get aggressive because he would not go into a bucket. Non poisonous.

@Anthony probably would have died.

I don’t mind snakes, and we wouldn’t have a big of a nice problem if my wife didn’t make me remove them from the property…

We have folks into tentacle covers.
Anyone into snake covers?

Both snakesheatingup . net and tentaclesheatingup . net are probably already taken, and well, good websites to visit if you want to test out your anti-virus software.

Bought a small stack of 10 centers via Marketplace for $50. I hoped most were like the books on the top of the stack, as those were cool. Sadly, most were Treasure Chest from 1959. About 25 of those. Really only about 5 that I want to keep.

Most are these:

Still some cool pickups. I have some Treasure Chests I have gotten out of collections. Not high value but cool to have.

Time Capsule Bargin Outlet Sale. Warwick RI.

You can read the add…but all comics $1. Trades were buy one get 2 free.

It was situated in a large room in an old warehouse which also is an indoor flea market. Opened at 10am, I arrived at 9pm. Was 8th or 9th in line. Fill-a-Box Comics was a few people behind me. Didn’t recognize any other you tubers.

Here’s what it looked like when I got in. I went straight to the back corner.

And here’s what it looked like when they let everyone in…I was afraid it was going to be elbow to elbow…but they capped the line to make sure it didn’t get too crowded. I was comfortable all day (stayed until 5pm), with the exception of the smell of some people…applying deodorant should be a prerequisite to enter…although I wouldn’t want to be the one validating it at the door.

I’ll post my finds next.

I wish we had these warehouse sales in my area. It never happens here.

PC FINDS

Getting close to finishing my Star Trek DC (Vol 1) run. Been grabbing books for $1 or less.

I completely forgot these ElfTrek comics existed! Not worth anything, but had to grab them.

Coyote 12 is 2nd Todd McFarlane art in comics. JQ1 was just in nice shape.

I grab Middleton New Mutants for a $1 when I find them. The FF is not only a newsstand, but Dell Otto’s first Marvel
cover…might be his first American comic work (?). Would like to get it signed…I have another copy as well.

Early Thanos cover…bear up but a nice reader for $1. Putting together an NYX run…

I’ve wanted to go back and read the Venom story in LotDK. Found them all today.

Hard to pass up older Batman’s for $1. I’m trying to put a Batman family run together.

Early Harley app in continuity. The others are just newsstands of some of my favorite Batman covers from when I first started collecting comics, in newsstand.

Sup 160 is the first appearance of the “Modern” Bizzaro. Whatever that is…I just like the character and cover. Sup 204 is a newsstand.

Next up….Spec Books.

SPEC PICK-UPS

Ravencroft Carnage is 1st Cortland Cassidy.

I’ll grab Ghost Machine #1 for $1 every day.

Actually, Turok is not a spec book. Im officially starting my experiment to buy $1 Turok everywhere I find one, and I’m going to list it for $10…I’ll keep adding Turok #1s to the listing until it sells…see how many Turoks does it take until someone will buy a lot for $10…

The America 11 is the second to last issue…I thought it sold for more being a low print run…but I’ll hold until Chavez comes back…if she comes back. I sold issue 12 for $50 (also bought for $1) during the boom.

Next up, my flips….

FLIPS

Going to start on the low end and save the best for the end.

This Thor book used to be a good flip…might be a spec book.

Punishers in the 200s are low print runs.

End of run GRs fetch decent $ in good shape. The GR 35 is a first appearance, and a last issue of that run.

This Wasted Space #1 seems like a homage to a Mandalorian or Boba Fett. Can’t find a single listing or sale…need to do some research before I list it. Here’s what I did find.

I need to list a run of my Batman Beyond as I’m not going to read them. But I like these covers from that run so this will allow me to keep my PC copies.

Some Mr. And Mrs. X books are sneaky flips. X-Forxe is a Deadpool card (and negative Cap America UPC).

Trades were buy 1 get 2 free. So $20 for the three. Nothing great, but this TMNT Inside Out is a hard cover, and has sold for $30. The other TPBs sell for $20-$30.

Some red hood. Issue 23 variant doesn’t have recent sales, but listings are north of $15. Not sure how to price the 31 Scalera…sales are around $10, but no listings are $50 and up.

Who knew Dan Mora was the cover artist for the last issue of Batman Beyond (50). That’s really a spec book, I guess…

The last books should need no explanation.

73 books and 3 trades…Out the door cost of $99.50.

BTW. Very interesting people watching.

I was observing how people search for books. Given it was mostly a Random hodgepodge.

I primarily will look at every book. Unless I know there is clearly a run that I’m not interested in or that I can tell there is several of the same book (easiest to see when they are in bagged).

I was quite surprised by people around me that would come up to the box next to me…and start flipping through, but would flip in chunks of 20-50 books. They’d spend about 10 seconds on a box and move to the next.

Thats fine I’d they have some organization…but I do t see how you find anything that way…unless you get lucky.

So, question for this of you who like to search unorganized boxes of comics….what is you process? Jump around looking at only one of every 20-30 books, or are you meticulously flipping to see every book in a box?

Ill be looking to make that $100 back quickly…I don’t like spending $$$ these days unless It’s guaranteed return on investment…or minimum break even.

So l’ll keep track of my sales and update when I’ve reached the point of playing with house money.

Pretty nice haul for the price. I’ll definitely have to check them out tomorrow if I have time or for sure one of the upcoming weekends.

I go through each book. I don’t want to miss any
