Love the Zom 100’s
Nah. I am not eating that. 40 year old gum turns to jagged glass.
These are tough to find in NM condition as most copies went to the dollar bin pretty quickly. Add in a limited audience for Jonny Quest and they drooped in those bins, creating color breaks on the spines.

Haven’t found much at the LCS these days…so eBay sales have been practically non-existent. These are not in the best of shape (multiple spine ticks) but we’re half cover…so should be able to make a small profit.

Barely buy books anymore but go 2 more Homare covers for the collection, the foil really pops on the Batgirl cover, I love that they only made the artwork foil and left the background normal, with the white it really makes the art pop out especially with the foil on it. Hope to see more of these from DC, spot foil always looks better than just a full cover foil. One of the better foil books I’ve seen.
I believe this may be Curzi’s first published cover unless he did some obscure kickstarter/indie cover that I am not aware of:
On the Manga side my wife got me Berserk Volume 8 so officially passed the halfway mark for the series and Solo Leveling volume 9 was released the other day.

Snagged these this morning. I figured for the cheap buy in all three have potential. The Hulk has been highlighted this week on some lists as well so if you have them or see them, it’s a good time to stock up if found cheap or sell. I already had some but figured an extra at cover won’t hurt.
Personally, I think it’s a good hold. I really like this run of Hulk & the monster themed/Charlie (Charlene) character.

Really, really excited over this one. One of my best hauls in quite some time.
Filed this under LCS finds, but this place is more of my gaming store I suppose. Last Saturday, the wife and I were heading out shopping & I randomly saw a post from this shop that they were having a huge comic blowout sale. A tent set-up outside and everything. Fill a box for a buck a book, etc, etc. The thing is, this shop never has all that many comics so I was intrigued.
I gave the puppy sad eyes to the wife, promised her a nice dinner & she even joked that she knew I’d spend the day FOMOing over it if I didn’t get to go lol.
We boogie tailed it there & she dropped me off. Wasn’t a soul there. Labor day weekend & last minute/day of advertising of this sale I imagine.
Anyway…they just wanted comics cleared out. New, old, all of it. I asked and a great deal of of this was books put in their warehouse over time (overstock) as well as stuff taken in on trade and store credit they just never got around to.
It was an absolute blast. So random too. I ended up filing about close to 2 short boxes and after all the discounts and credits they gave me I paid less than a buck a book.
Here are just a few of the goodies. Not in the picture is a complete run (minus the Platt issues) of Marc Spectre Moon Knight. What was so cool is I’d come across things like the Thanos run and wonder…“will the #13 be there?”…sure enough. None of the stuff was picked through or had keys missing.
Caveat…I also realize many aren’t insane big $$ books…but for less than a dollar it was a no brainer grabbing them or complete runs.

Huge score, very nice! This is the kind of stuff that i look for at cons. While everyone is FOMOing looking for the current hot Doom books and paying silly prices for them, I’m looking for bargains and cheap specs. I have no problem selling these.

Awesome stuff! Stores that don’t focus on comics but carry them somewhat usually are good for picking!

Went to a local show 25 minutes away. Was $8 to get in and plenty of comic vendors that had really good stuff. Ranging from 50 cents to higher end but the most pricey book I got was $10. The firtst Task master was in terrible condition but was only $5 so I got it. In total spent like $50
