I Like What You Got! (LCS Finds)

Nice grab

Went to comic con in my state, not a ton of comic sellers but there was a good amount, one seller had a ton of long boxes and you could fill up a small box for $10 which is where most of this came from

Found a collectible store that had about 6 $2 bin longboxes of comics, pulled these out, he even rounded it down to an even $25.

I’ve been looking for Wool 1-3 for cheap for years. The show Silo is based on the novel Wool. Finally found a stack for $2 each. 5 copies of 1a, and 2 of 1b (the 1:4 incentive).

Also found the most flawless Gears of War 1 for $2.

Comic shop? Comic show? Where? I’m impressed.

I have the series Wool. Or at least did. Cannot remember if I sold on the original announcement.

That gaming store that also has comics came through again. All at 40% off for their pre black Friday sale! (And cover to begin with)

Most excited about the 1 per store Gold Hyde Street that was sitting there still.

It was at a collectibles shop. They probably have 50 short boxes of books, but only back issues that they buy. No new stuff. I rarely find anything there, but these were a nice surprise.

Is that Spawn cover one of the Kickstarter action figure variants?

No, or at least I don’t think so. It’s smaller than a regular comic and I believe they must have come with a set of Spawn toys or action figures? They are listed as Spawn Figures #1. The cover I have is Cover A but there are 5 or 6 other ones all featuring other Spawn toys.

I just dropped my set of Wool off at Half Price Books cause they aren’t worth the hassle to list and sell for just a few bucks. Forgot I even had them.

But most aren’t away, it’s actually based off a novel before the comic book even… good read, I recommend it.

Agreed, a good read. I was disappointed in the sequel though (Dust?)
