Some fresh pickups. Some Nightwings for cover price.
More cover price books including the Sonic ratio incentive that my shop had for cover price. Love me some Archie Sonics. My shop had about 10 copies of the Sonic that he never put out for sale. He said he has no idea why he has so many, figured Archie must’ve overshipped him copies. I picked out the nicest ones and left the rest.
Finally some dollar books. Will always pick up sealed Wizard copies for $1.

I’ve had great luck selling these Nightwings, but I just can’t find 106 Mora. And there are none on eBay. I wonder if this one is really low print. High sale looks like $50, but it might be time to kick that up to $80-100. Cool that you found one!
Robins 2 Mora is up at that level. Sold my second copy this weekend and got $96.
These Nightwings keep going up in price. Every time I sell them they keep trending up as it gets more scarce. I sold the Robins for $50 and thought I made out like a bandit because previous to that they were only about $25. Now they’re trending towards $100. Insanity.
I think it’s because those who are buying them are not speculating…they’re holding them for the PC or hording them. Some I’ve had the same person buy the same book when I’ve found more copies.
And here I am stuck with my three copies of Heartless’ first appearance. Someone needs to tell these overseas Nightwing fans they need that key issue of Nightwing. Not a pumpkin butt shot.

Mr & Mrs X #1 is a 1:50 JC Campbell variant. Sells for $35…lowest listed is $57 currently. The other issues are $15-$20 books.
Paid $120 in total. 24 books. Estimating $360 (if avg sales are $15ea).
Had the day off and hit a few shops. Not a big haul but definitely found some nice books.

Cover price IDW Joes w/ Dawn Moreno appearances, D-Rod mentioned Go-Bots and I certainly remember them. Had a few when I was a kid, 1st Go-Bots in standard comics?
cover price MTMTE low print IDWs, wondering if the heat on these is Megatron becoming an Autobot… kinda strange.
I don’t think the heat is anything but copies becoming more hard to come by like Joes and Archie Sonic’s.
Issue 26 is the first app of Windblade, who is a fan created transformer (I think they did a vote for what fans wanted a new character to be). She’s on the cover of the RI and it goes for good money in any grade.
I haven’t been able to track that book down yet in years of searching bins.
Went back to this shop on Sunday and found some more stuff. All were cover except the 87 variant which was $2. It’s not just Mora covers that are getting up there so don’t skip over any non-Mora Nightwing variants you come across before checking recent eBay sales…
Also hit up a small show and had some success. All of these were $2 each except for the 2 variants on the bottom that are priced. Paid $20 for the pair just because the vendor was so cool and patient and I think it was a fair deal based on what I found on eBay. If anyone has insight into these, it would be appreciated. Couldn’t find too many listings which I like but not any sales really either which I don’t like… The Eternals are all higher grade.

Man oh man. At the beginning of this year, a local vintage toy/comic shop bought a huge comic collection. They plucked out all the Marvel keys and cheesecake books, and barely touched the DC stuff. Right when this site started to discover the Nightwing sales, I went back to the shop to see if he still had the DC boxes. Nope. Sold them off for dirt cheap just to clear them out. Oh what could have been in those boxes!!! I even asked him if he remembered any Nightwing stuff in there and he said there were Nightwing issues from the last few years. Argh.
Hit two shops. No WW25, but I think I did alright finding some other things on my list. Will break this down later under LcS pickups.
I pre-ordered a WW25 anyway…was waffling on order to f 2 at FOC but figured if it got hot I’d find one… NOPE!
