My haul from yesterday.
First, all these costs .35 apiece. 1-10 1st prints of the new transformers run and some early ultimate Spider-Man as well as some other books I couldn’t pass up for that price.
Some more .35 goodies. I’m really interested to see where the DC comics that they sell in gas stations will go. It has a dollar higher cover price on it (as well as a Canadian price). I feel like these are going to blow up any minute.

Then some nice video game related books. All .35 apiece. First Kratos! Nice book.
Lastly,
Full Dracula and Frankenstein image comics runs. All these comics cost from $1 to 3.50.
On average, these books were $1.77 per comic. Not bad I’d say.

Made it to the very last store in my journey here and hit it exactly at the right time since they were getting out of comics. They didn’t have any wall books or anything just about 15 long boxes of their old stock that they were selling for $1. Anything you could find in the store was $1 and all trades were $2. I wish I knew more about at trades or probably would have bought some of those as well. I definitely wasn’t the first one to attack these boxes but this is what I pulled:
Some Mark Spears, Monsters #4 hasn’t really broken cover, but #3 is on the rise so maybe these make it worth it, for the price I grabbed.
The token Micheal Turners I always seem to find in these boxes.
Some really, really late NSVs, what could the print run on NSVs be in 2013? Less than 1%?
Early Campbells and some Dawn books that I never seem to have any problem selling.
Didn’t even know that Jusko did a Shi cover, not worth much but love his work.
Incredibly found all these 1 per stores in the piles.
All in all, pretty happy with the haul, bought so many books here that I have to ship them home. Too many to take on the plane with me, first world problems for sure.

Hit two locations of a shop this weekend. It’s their twice a year “all back issues are 25 cents” sale. It’s mostly just to purge the Wednesday books that didn’t sell. I don’t think they really buy collections, so most of it is somewhat newer.
The challenge with this sale is ALWAYS “don’t buy too much.” Hard to do when new books that you might want to read or flip or just have are so damn cheap. Finished the weekend with 85 books. Mostly run fillers or cheap reads, but a pretty good haul of sellable stuff.

So after striking out at the shop that had the fire, I decided to swing buy a few others in close proximity. Here’s what I found…all cover price.
Crazy thing is I left a lot of Nightwing Mora’s behind. Not anything too crazy…just covers that are selling for $15 or so. They had a lot of long boxes under tables…many with recent modern books…so I’m sure there are more gems to be found…I’ll have to make a plan to go back in the near future, but will need to devote a few hours digging, likely.
I’ve spent A LOT on beef cake and Mora recently…granted all at cover price…but I think I need to take a break for a bit and actually list some of this…it does seem like more listings are showing up and prices are starting to settle.

You did really well. Most of the stores around me have very little recent back stock. They have a lot of older back issues and recent issues within the last week or so, but everything else is missing.

Spent $8 today. Dollar sale. Got a Catwoman Hughes cover I need for the run, glad I only paid $1 because it isn’t one of the more desirable ones. Just one I need. Also got a personal minor grail.

Hit two shops. The first had a $2 sale on tons of fresh boxes but none of the hot Mora stuff was in there. In fact, it was mostly disappointing overall.
Did manage to find some Mora though, the whole top row, but they’re all A covers that mostly go for cover. I remember buying Putri covers that were like that and I’ve managed to sell some of those for $20+ months later so you never know.
2nd shop was much better, although I’ve noticed some undercutting has begun on eBay. Will be interesting to see which books stay hot. I think 106 is the most sought after from his Nightwing run, then 112/105/111.
There’s an auction for 106 ending today with the other two listings BINs at $170+.
@D-Rog give us a chance to sell ours before you flood the market

Someone is listing Mora books starting at 99 cents…killing the market as it takes 7 days to get those off the bay…
But you can see what people are willing g to battle it out for…

Of the covers you’re showing, I didn’t pick up any of those recently. I have a few listed, but they haven’t sold. I think you’re good. No real competition from me. The flood has already occurred.
For multiples all I have left are Tim Drake Robin #4, Robins 1 (tarr) and 2 (Robles). Beefcake doesn’t seem to be as appetizing as it was recently.
Not true. I just sold world’s finest 35 beefcake to sexy Asian woman for big big bucks.
