Went back to a shop with some Absolutes to grab a few more Martian Manhunter and Wonder Woman 1s….turns out since I last visited a couple weeks ago they re-priced most books to FMV. Doh!!!
Still found a ok books…But not as big a score as I was hoping. 
Issue #2 is a 1st print, issue 4 is a 5th print, and 8 is a 2nd print.
Happy to find the ASM muppet variant.
Paid cover for everything aside for the ABM 2 (paid up for as it’s for the PC).

Hit a couple shops today. Left behind quite a few Martian manhunter 3-5 cover As.
The only Exquisite Corpses 1 I found was the Frison cover.
The Frison cover is starting to go up. I saw sales about $12 or a little more.
Batman 145 Putri appear to be a ghost on eBay now…
I found 2 copies, but the owner would only let me buy one. (First time he’s done that to me in several visits). And I never take more than two anyway. Didn’t know until I went to the counter, otherwise I would have left one there to get another day. I guess he doesn’t like me giving him business anymore.
Not sure why shops care how many copies you grab if it’s back stock…I’m a bit baffled by this.
I have two smaller shops today that don’t move a lot of comics and struck out on them
And sold! That’s my 4th sale of the new year, which as little as I sell, is probably one of my better months.

Had some free time this morning thx to blizzard work stuff and hit up a shop that doesn’t put anything out except the last few weeks. Everything is in dated boxes you need to dig through. Usually I end up wasting a lot of time which I don’t have much of, so I don’t come here too often.
Didn’t know there was a recent dell’otto Nightwing cover out there. Not too many on eBay.
Not many of this one either. eBay availability usually plays a factor in me picking up a book or leaving it.

1st prints
Hit a few shops today. I have to say it was mostly disappointing, but did not come away empty handed.
Paid up for the ACE 2As…but still about half the eBay going rate. I’ll keep one so I can move my cover B copy. Otherwise all I found was issue 7B. Will hit some more ships tomorrow to look for more.
The rest are usual suspects. I know a shop that had a lot of ASM 13s and Rook 2As. These Rogue/Gambits (2018) are tough to find.
We’ll see what tomorrow brings….
Nothing too crazy or exciting here…I now will have issues 1-8 of ACE in cover A, plus a few extra random A & B covers to flip.
The Spider-Man’s were just high grade newsstands…putting together a McFarlane run on the series in Newsies.

i never find rook or conan books, but glad to have these. Curious to see if the Cap 1 2nd print does anything with the series being a good read.

this week’s pick ups. that superman manga cover is tough but got one from my LCS. they only had one. had another in hand Tues night but the guy at the counter didnt want to sell books b/c theyre supposed to put them out Wed. there was a sign but i ignored it b/c theyve sold to me on a Tues before.
so lame, blew the sale and theyre primarily a card/playing/tournament store with new books, no back issues. went back today, only one they had was gone and 2 other spots i went to didnt have it. most likely grabbed on Wed.
Love the Punisher cover so had to grab one.
What was the price in the Nightwing 99 foil?
What surprises me is that the foil, being a 1:25 ratio I believe, doesn’t typically sell for more than the regular cover.
i see FMV sales around $25-35, and some listings asking for $45-50. for $15 and under ratio, i’ll take it

I love flipping Red Hood covers… last time I found Kerschl variants they were in the dollar bin. These were cover but they sell for around $30-$40. The 1:25 Nakayama is, imo,.one of the best Red Hood covers out there. It’s already around $100 in NM condition but I think there’s so much room for growth.
Batgirl 1-4 covers A and some variants are $20+ currently. Not sure why, probably just harder to find. This is the first time I’ve found copies and they only had issue 2.
