That transformers book can be big money if it grades in 9.8.

Same here. Wasn’t even on my radar but it immediately caught my eye. Not super valuable but his covers always have the potential to suddenly explode.
It has a ln outside shot. Depending on how it looks after a press it may go to the prescreen box or get listed raw. My prescreen box is filling up as I haven’t sent anything to CGC in a while.
I love her work. So jealous you got to meet and speak with her.

Her work is fantastic. It was cool to meet her but she seemed so out of it. She said she didn’t sleep in 2 days. She goes live on twitch occasionally. If you follow her on IG she’ll post in her stories when she’s live and you can watch her work and chat, ask questions etc.

Went dollar bin hunting yesterday. A LCS has a room with hundreds of boxes of $1 books. All unorganized. I spent 2 hours there. It’s very relaxing for me. Anyway. I pulled 10 $1 books. Got a $10 Adam Hughes Wonder Woman book I don’t have and some bags and boards. With my loyalty discount paid $35.
Sold this in minutes.
Paid cover price.
This took about 7 hours to sell
Paid $1 and between the two books broke even on my purchase.
Found these and listed them as well
Also $1 each.
Found some random SDCC variants and other oddities I am keeping.

I found a copy of the Dan Quitana Kill All Immortals and have been holding on to it. Good looking cover. There’s doesn’t seem to be too many on eBay and it’s ridiculously hard to find. If you list it for ~$25 it’ll sell right away. Not sure I want to do that. Might just keep it.
Yeah. Thats the sweet spot for a quick profit. I just wanted to turn the stuff over quickly so I aggressively priced them. I paid less than cover for it. Figure bags and boards are $10 each. $10 in dollar comics. A $10 back issue and the new book would be $45. I paid $35 out the door.

I got $35 for my Kill All Immortals a week ago, but I was afraid I priced it too high. Sent out a bunch of offers at $30, and someone grabbed it for $35.
I need books to sell, so I went to a shop that has back issues for 70% off. I wanted to load up, get around $1000 retail but ended up not having a lot of time due to some other errands. Here is what I got.
These were for the PC, paid $3 for the NYCC Darkness. $1.80 for the Captain Atom (I love Charelton Captain Atom) $2.40 for the Silver Age Green Lantern.
Next up Books for Sale. All were under $2.10 or less. Absolute Superman #1 Blanks were $2.40 and are first prints.
Using the hunt list to find books of interest.
Loaded up on some sonics, those DC X Sonics sell for like $30.
And because I had time and Money left, I swung by a second shop. Found IDW GI Joe Back issues and more Gambit and Rogue books to sell These were 3 for $10 and got the Ant TPB with the J Scott Campbell cover for free. It can sell for as much as $30 but someone has been blowing them out cheap, so listed this one at $11.

At the shops by me you could never find such gems. They are picked over all the time. Lucky you.
Nice Mr/Mrs X and Rogue/Gambit finds. No body is looking for those yet. But still hard to find.
I went to 4 shops toys…three I’d never been to…Batgirls 5 is a ghost. 1-4 are getting more and more scarce as well.
Take a look at the detective 1100. If you don’t already have a copy you may decide to keep it for the PC. It’s a pretty cool cover.
I have three copies. Sold two others of Detective 1100. May put one away for me.
My finds today. Hit 4 shops. 3 I had not yet been to.
Got all for cover price or less, except for the Spider-Man 13 (looked like a 9.8 candidate with a press…picked up for $5).
Just sold a Batman 145 Putri for $50 a few days back…then I go and find two more literally still on racks.
Same with the Batgirl 7 Mora variant. Both on the rack.
No Nightwing Mora or beefcake variants though except for the Robins #1. I think just about everyone has caught on.

I need some new books to warm up, as my market is absolutely tapped out. The Nightwings and Moras and Putris are just gone now. I drove pretty far to a shop I hit a couple times a year in hopes that they had some things. Found a couple, but not much. The two highlights:

While collectors clamor for a Quintana exclusive, I landed a grail for me plus the final issue of SS to boot. $300 for both. VFN on the IF14, press can push it to 9.2 and NM on the SS. Sweeeet.
