Gain-of-research from the NIH below. IMO (putting my conspiracy hat on) all countries are looking into weaponizing bio-weapons or cures for them (they would be stupid not too unfortunately).
But to jcLu’s point, it has nothing to do with Covid vaccines.
If we start questioning the CDC, FDA, NIH, etc., we’d have to stop eating, drinking and taking medicines ! Heck only health supplements are not FDA approved ! And profits are to also fund expensive research and acquire talent ! Capitalism at its best !

Perhaps you already have good bags/boards on all your comics but there is still a 1:10,000 chance that a comic will get ruined. They’ve come up with these new bags/boards that will further reduce this risk of damage but they have no idea of the long-term effects on your comics. Do you re-bag/board them all?
Oh and the risk never really goes away so you’ll have to rebag with new booster bags every 6 months for eternity. :o)
A human life is worth more than a mint condition Action Comics #1. If I owned a mint AC #1 and a world famous professional with a doctorate in comic preservation advised me to rebag and board every 6 months I would have a calendar reminder on my phone to do just that.

What if that world famous professional was in bed with the government who was in bed with the company making said bags/boards?
And even though this world famous professional may have advised you, he has no idea what the long-term effects of the new bags/boards will be on your comics, because that information does not exist.

Having said that, I can understand your skepticism as the USA is notorious for letting pharmaceutical companies push a lot of drugs on the population. The amount of drug commercials, which are illegal most free nations, in the US is ridiculous.

That is quite the tinfoil hat. 96% of the world’s population doesn’t know, or listen to, Fauci. Im in the latter. I’m listening to the officials, and scientists from health Canada, which is wholly independent from any US agency. We provide Universal healthcare to every Canadian citizen…it’s in my society’s best interest, financially, not to have everyone running around incubating highly communicable deadly viruses.
As someone who doesn’t live in the American political, and tv bubble, I can assure you that the US government, with 4% of the global population, is not in on some conspiracy with hundreds of other governments and hundreds of other health agencies. It’s absolutely crazy to me that you guys trust your politicians and pundits, who have obvious hidden agendas, over your health experts who have no agenda (on a national and global scale). We don’t even have our politicians speaking on this. We, as a nation, all agree that the science is in. This is the way out. It’s not the first time in history that humans have relied on vaccines to save them, and it won’t be the last. Don’t let your career lying politicians convince you that science is out to kill you.

The last I checked only the states and Australia allow Rx commercials on TV. The world is full of idiots who think the earths flat and big brothers trying to inject a tracking device with the vaccine. Meanwhile they don’t realize that cell phone they’re carrying around does the same thing. That and posting on social media their every last move.
