I was surprised to see a long box available for purchase. What with the supply chain issues and paper shortage, I was expecting a drought to start. I nabbed it because that could start any time now.
Got my normal pulls. All covers of High Republic 10, Ghosts of Vader’s Castle 5, and Star Wars Adventures 11. Went back issue diving and was thankful I did. I found a Darth Maul 2 (first canon Cad Bane) for $3. Tales of the Jedi Redemption full run. Two issues from the Star Wars (1998) Darkness arc, and Darth Vader 1 (first Black K) and 2 (first canon Cassio Tagge and first Cassio Tagge cover for what that’s worth).

Found some cool Moon Knight books. Need a press, but with that, they’ll be really nice copies. Grabbed another Miss Mech, too. Paid $3.50-$4.00 each.

Those Moon Knight 25 go for really decent money raw too… don’t even have to press them if you got for $4 each… they’re selling for $75 to $100 or more I think raw…

I know, but they are weirdly mangled, but in a totally pressable way. Very little color breaking and nice corners. I feel like these are $40 in this shape, but $80+ if pressed. They had more issues in the 20s, but those were spine tic city.

Went on a hunt in a city I rarely visit. Some good spec pick ups and some fun books just for me. I love that Dead of Night book. The Doctor Strange #68 is a great Black Knight story. I never see that Dr. Aphra book and found 2!!! Just fun comics overall.

The issue before that is Hera and Aphra’s first meeting I’m pretty sure. All the kids are into first meetings.
My LCS had a $2/book sale on their long wall of comics (anything not a current week release) so when I stopped in to grab my small pullbox (4 books) I had to look around.
I grabbed the nicest copy of King Spawn 1 that I could find. This is mostly so I can check it out as I am still WAY behind being current on the series and I’ve fallen behind my 1 issue/day quota with work and babu duties.
Also snagged Spawn 310 Barends for his first cover art.
War of the Bounty Hunters 5 for obvious reasons (not sure how this wasn’t on my pull list but kinda glad it wasn’t as I saved a lot off of cover price)
Also snagged Spider-Woman 15 & 16 for the new Spider hero. In the last panel she says she isn’t getting into the hero game because she needs to run her father’s pharma company but… with that kinda money and resources plus a special, Barbara Gordon-esque suit something tells me she’s gonna be back.
All in all it was nice little $10 haul for some minor spec and honestly I’m going back reading the back issues of the current Pacheco run on Spider-Woman and I am digging it!

Surprised to see GR33 in a long box for cover. Found a few SW Legacy books that have some potential.
Legacy 18 = 1st Darth Wryylok (?) - need to verify.
Legacy 22 = Darth Krayt cover I always grab.
Legacy 27 = 1st Darth Andeddu (non holocron)

Thanks for verifying. 18 is also the origin of Darth Krayt (how he turns sith) and a great Darth Nihl/Talon cover on top of it all.
