Had some birthday money. Got for 20% off ($80). It has a few spine ticks and color rub, but seemed like a good price. I’d say it’s VF/NM.
With a press it should hit NM-.

Very happy with that Strange Tales. Beautiful copy that may grade well. Paid $80 for the lot.
The Strange Tales will likely be a 8.5-9.2 after a press.

Tatterdemelion first appears in Werewolf by Night so you never know could make the show. I’ve been buying up Werewolf villains from the original series for a couple bucks each.
@D-Rog Pretty funny that we both picked that GR #55 book and posted at the same time lol. I felt the exact same way. I’ll buy every single early WWBN appearance I can.
@Alana Agreed…it’s really funny how inexpensive the majority of the WWBN books are outside of the biggies. There are some great villains/stories/art. Early Brother Voodoo as well in the run. Tatterdemalion is a fun villain. Who can survive…his stink.

The great thing about that GR #55 is that it really, really establishes a very strong bond/friendship/understanding between Johnny and Jack. I like that aspect of the book. They are pretty similar in many ways. You don’t always see much empathy in the Marvel books.

Finally found a Wolverine #88 in NM condition. It was on my personal list to pickup for my collection. It looks like a 9.6, maybe a 9.8 with a press. The rest of the Wolverines are the same condition. All of these for $55.

I had picked up a Wolverine #88 a few months ago but it was not in the best of shape, but I was still happy with that.
What’s the significance of that particular The Order #8? I have the first issue of that series on my list but wasn’t aware of any other “keys” in that series. It’s in if those team books with a bunch of first appearances that I pick up cheap.
