First appearance of Obidiah’s son, as @monopolyjackson shared.

I always love that Quesada Wolverine cover.

Destroyer Ducks we’re still there. Unfortunately the lesser copy has rusty staples. The better copy is about VF/NM. $28 for the set.

Cannot pass up on McFarlane hulk covers in higher grade. Unfortunately the newsstand has a slight corner bend along the back. But front covers very clean.

Couple random cheapies for flips for small profit.

My SIKTC finally arrived, thought it would only arrive after I left, so have some reading for next weeks flight

Best Jeff cover of all time, obviously. Believe it or not, this book is hard to find, bordering on ghosty, especially for a 2021 release. If you see one in your back issue bins, grab it.

If it’s a ghost then my LCS must have all of them :stuck_out_tongue: , 13 in stock and they are $2 at the moment during black friday sale

I got a 9.8 of this for cheap at NYCC.

Love this cover (and the Jeff comics on the app!).

Buy them all, that’s easy money.

Haha not here it’s not no one wants them

Nice, relaxing Black Friday dig at a couple stores. Some great deal and finds. A few of these are books I was made aware of from here. Particularly happy with the Dan Decarlo grabs though. Love his stuff. Paid next to nothing all told after the sale mark down.

I also found quite a few Proctor Valley road books and variants still at cover or less after sale not pictured.

Hope you all had good finds!

I went out today with my girlfriend to check out a couple of antique malls about an hour & a half away from the house. We hit no traffic as it was in the country away from all the other shoppers. The first place I picked up a few dollar comics that were 80 cents today.

I got these Wolverine comics just for the cover.

I picked these Samurai Penguin, Adolescent Radioactive Black Belt Hamsters, and Crow of the Bear Clan comics because they reminded me of TMNT comics.

I then found a bunch more of the Adolescent Radioactive Black Belt Hamsters comics.

Some more over buys. The Marines comic was the most expensive one I got at this place. It cost $1.60.

We left the first place and visited a couple more shops that were in that area. On the way home we stopped at a few more places. The last shop I almost didn’t go in as I was getting tired and hungry. I glad I didn’t skip it. When we first walked in there was 8 short boxes of comics on a glass display case. Each short box had bagged groups of 3 to 10 comics and there were also loose comics. At first, I wasn’t sure if it was by the bag or single comics. I was going to give up since most of the comics were dollar comics in my eyes. But then I found the Wolverine 10, WCA #45 and the Wolverine #6. After about another 45 minutes of digging through everything this is what I found for $24 after the 40% Black Friday deal. The Amazing Spider-Man #361 had me shaking for a second. It is one of my personal grails that I had been hoping to find in the wild. The Koker Killing Smile was a surprise too. I think it is a 1st print. The New Mutants #26 is Legion cover and the other Spider-Man was a cover buy for the Hob-Goblin. I can’t wait to get out more next spring.

I’m out of town visiting the inlaws and was able to get away for a bit today so I hit up the only shop in the area. Got these for $20 after 30% off.

Had a great time hunting a couple shops yesterday. No retire-early finds, but some fun things.

These are the only ones that I paid much for. The top 3 were cover. Bottom two (first Tombstone) were $8 each. Great condition.

Next, some cool 80s Spideys. Not flawless, but were 50 cents each.

These four cost $5 total.

Some more that were 50 cents.

And a few #1s that were just kinda fun. These were either 25 or 50 cents.

A bunch more, too. Ended up with 53 books for about $55.

One last weekend stop. I already have a couple nice copies of Daredevil #9, but I couldn’t pass up another. This is at a minimum a 9.4 and after the sale discount it was $160. No brainer for me.
I am, and have always been all in on Maya/Echo.

The others are just fun, cheap spec books that I’m fond of.

My Black Friday hunting yielded only a couple gems. Aphra was $140 and Gambit was $21.

Yesterday my LCS had 50% off back issues do grabbed couple of variants. Also went to the Swapmeet and get some good deals on some books. Specially the Batman ones. The person had issues 440-540 and 610-640 with missing issues in between those 30. Didn’t have enough $ on me or else I would of gotten the full run of #440-540 lol.

Was searching through some boxes at the LCS I occasionally flip through that aren’t out with the regular stock. In the “magazine” box, which I rarely pay attention to, I Came across this book.

I have never paid more than $100 for a raw book…but today I couldn’t leave this behind for $200.

My guess is that’s it’s in VF+…some spine ticks that break color, but not unsightly, some slight scuffing of the back cover…front cover could use a press but presents really well. Checked eBay and copies in this grade or lower grade go for 2.5-4 times as much, raw.

Since the 1st print is so far out of my price range this is a nice consolation prize/find.
