Doesnât hurt that they have great classic covers.
I donât usually post in here but I did go to the mall in Syracuse, NY and picked up some spec stuff and pc. Prices are on the books. Their Dollar books are all loose (no bags or boards).
I used to live near Syracuse. Visited last Summer. That mall keeps getting bigger.
UghâŠorangemen not doing so well this yearâŠ
Well Hulk vs Thor was basically a movie so thatâs why that JITM is wanted.
lol agreed, its a thing.
Silver surfer 4. Yea itâs an iconic cover with a low print. But it has been going up and up the past few years due to the inevitable thor vs surfer mcu fight. And when that does happen, they better use that cover as inspiration. If they donât put it on screen⊠swing and a miss!
Nothing major today besides my pulls, but I did snag a couple:
First up is Superior Four #1, which was sold out at my LCS on release day. Itâs only about a month old?? But I found it in the back issues bin so I snagged it.
Secondly is Star Wars (2015) issue 7. I believe this is the first flash back to Hermit Ben Kenobi during his time watching Luke. The issue takes place 11BBY and the new show is supposed to take place 10BBY. Half way speccy, but mostly picked up for the read similar to @D-Rog . My LCS used to have a copy of issue 15 with the Ross cover but it was either misplaced or someone snagged it. Oh well. Snooze and lose.
Also, they had no Sprouse 50th Vader 20. I have the Beskar print on order and at this point it may end up being the shorter printed book, lol.
Issue 7 is a good read. I miss the days of single issue storiesâŠ
Did some power digging at a shop and found a few things.
$13 total for this group:
These were $9 for the 5 after the 10% discount. Iâm just putting this volume together.
Found hiding behind a few Poe Dameon back issues on the shelf. Cover price.
I had recently sold my other copy for $30 and knew I had sold too soon. Well, found another in better shape!

Random back issues for $3 ea.

Some Batgirl Popular covers.

Teen Titans Go 15 seems to sell well. 1st Kitten and Kwiz Kid.
Not in the best shape, but newsstand variant with pin-up intact. Been searching for this for a while and happened to find it buried with some random comics.
Do some of you guys live in small towns that still donât have internet connection and is cut off from the rest of the world? jeesus
Shops canât keep track of everything thankfully. Thatâs a great find!
My local shops keep track of EVERYTHING. When something gets hot, my shops nearly always have their prices adjusted immediately. I need to drive further out of the metro area to find better deals. But, Iâm not ever finding a Young Avengers 1 for $10. Nice score!
The owner prices them. Itâs not NM, but it doesnât have any major flaws. Maybe VF/NM.
Iâm not sure What the logic was. But itâs not a shop that pulls books out when they get hot and reprices. They donât mark books up until years later. Some sit on the shelves for many years, like Solo book above.
I do well there, but also give them a lot of business.
This might be my most peculiar find ever.
