Doesn’t matter, they grade and slab books, they’re not an authority of firsts and such within the books.

I really want CBCS and CGC to have a big disagreement over a book and what counts as a first appearance in it. Would be some fun drama.

I think with Gambits first appearance there is a bit of a difference between how CGC and cbcs states it for the annual (which is the true first appearance - multiple panels, speaks, and named in it don’t @ me).

Got the power girl foil through my comicshop. Listed as an 8.0 vf but much higher grade than that

I bought this 4 hours before the trailer dropped, when I woke up and saw that every listing had disappeared from ebay I thought my order would get cancelled but it arrived. $4 including shipping.
Been on the lookout for this cover since 2019, ordered it from my LCS and it never came, was never able to find any local copies, finally one got listed. The foil on the cover is so well done, needs to be seen in person, really pops.
Won in an auction, I collect Hellcat and Ivan Tao was just waiting to snag a cheap copy that no one bids on.

Got this from a newer seller who had it listed for a great price. I was worried if it would be in worse shape than pictured or not shipped well, but everything was perfect! Paid $73 for it after shipping and it came with a random newer and not noteworthy Teen Titans issue. Observe:

Was finally able to add this to my collection, been wanting it for a while now, it was in my list of 3 books to buy in 2022, watched it gain popularity out of nowhere and started seeing prices go up as they always do when it’s a book you want 
Just wanted a nice presenting copy, didn’t want one with stamps on the cover and wanted a copy with white pages. Also wanted one with room for improvement if I ever wanted to clean and press at some stage down the road and from the graders notes this fits that scenario, so once this popped up I grabbed it.

I wouldn’t call it an unbelievable deal, but I was able to snag the first full appearance of Venom (to store with my Cates run) for about $50. Seller had it listed as 6.0 but it looks great, imo.
I also picked up a BEAUTIFUL copy of VoB #1, first print for $40. It was packed great but during shipping somehow top right corner got dinged. I’ve got a buddy who can press for $10.
