@drunkwooky Jim mentions you again in his video. Cover A of Star Wars #26 is very had to find a copy to buy.
Midtown sold out.
Trinity comics has signed copies of Star Wars #26 as well as personal copies from EM GIST signed and remarked if that’s your thing.
To me the interesting thing is that the only variants of that are JTC and sprouse. So the only cover that is related to the comic is that cover A.
Like Jim said no idea if any of those characters will amount to anything but this is the first issue of a new arc for this star wars run so you know you’ll at least get them in multiple issues.
As of writing this Grahmcracker comics is showing Star Wars #26 cover A in stock but one per customer.
I ordered the EM GIST signed and remarked today thanks to your post, will take a photo when received. Not many of EM GIST remarks online to see what I am buying but hoping he takes advantage of the extra white space of this cover for something awesome.
@Amustin
I’ve followed Gist for a long time. I’m not trying to jinx you, but I’ve never seen a poor one by him. In fact, some of the most detailed, awesome remarque work around.
Guy takes his art seriously (not that others don’t).
I ordered an Obiwan virgin remarque from him. Can’t wait to see it.
@Amustin obviously not SW but indicative of his attention to detail and expertise (in my opinion anyway).
That’s a gorgeous remark congrats!!
I love Gist’s work…one of my favorite cover artists
Was that at SDCC? I saw him doing one for someone when I stopped by the booth.
Great remark!
I ordered a remarked version too. Thank you!!
Be sure to share that in here when you get it. I wanna see. Both of you. Hope it rules.
Trinity has copies again but the 9.8 remark was $229.99 and is now $249.99 for a “9.6 or better” remark.
Jim Comics Top Picks For NCBD Sept 14, 2022
At the end of the video, he metions Star Wars Doctor Aphra #24. If you follow @drunkwooky and read the CHU forum then you already knew this.
One thing I noticed is he said he sold some books. That’s one thing that people have been defending Jim’s videos always say, he doesn’t sell comics. Yet he just fully said he sold a bunch of comics.
Anyone that makes spec videos and pumps books, sells books…
