Sounds like Dynamite is trying to raise money because Diamond owes them, and “reclaimed” means they got them back from Diamond and need to sell them.

Yeah, the creative team got the rights for the book back from Source Point, who was holding the IP. They got it back and are continuing the book as self published.

This mystery box / blind bag fad will be getting a whole lot more prevalent as time goes on.
Heck, im worried i wont be able to purchase any dopey comic i simply want to read without tearing open a dumbass black plastic bag to get to it.
At some point, post lunacy blind bag peak, when buyers realize theyre often “holding the bag”; theyll begin to curtail their losing buying habits. The publishers will follow.
But as Karen Carpenter said, “Weve only just begun”.

I like some of their licenses, but I wouldn’t pay $3 for a Dynamite blind bag, let alone $13. Good luck to them.

We should all guess/estimate when blind bags will saturate the market and people get sick of them. Eventually, they will fade like many comic-book fads. I think they’re gonna peak mid-to-late 2026, and by the time we’re into 2027, we will see a drastic reduction in any blind bag releases. Basically, the backlash will happen a little before the end of next year. I wouldn’t be surprised if it is sooner, but lock me in with that bet.
