LEGOs Heating Up

Question for you or anyone chasing these Spider-verse lego minis.

Have you only found them at Walmart, or are you finding them at other retail stores like Target or Kohl’s.

I visited 5 other Walmarts and 3 Targets after stumbling upon them…did not find any more. I did a little comic shop crawl stopped at some along the way yesterday.

I looked on the Walmart app and it doesn’t seem like any aside from the closest to me has them in stock.

I’ll post what I got a little later, and what I’m still looking for. But surprised that only one store within an hour of me had them.

I found them at the lego store. I havent seen them anywhere else yet.

Are these Spider-Man Spiderverse min-figs really popular? Do I need to check stores for them?

You can find them online at LEGO.com as well… LEGO Spider-Man Across Universe Mini'sicon

Here’s the display (as I left it - I bought 8 or 9). They may also be on shelves in those wire baskets they put the regular bagged Legos in too.

It could be that some Walmarts haven’t gotten shipments yet. I’m going to swing by my Walmart on the way home to see if they put out any more…or how many are left. But I would not call them “scarce”…It’s just that in person you can choose which character you’re buying.

I may have to hit a lego store at some point. There are farther away, and likely charge more. Walmart was $5.

I’m speccing on Spider-Punk though…first issue, one of the most popular. If I were to pick one.

I would think the next series will have Peter Porker, Spider-Man Noir, Jessica Drew, the Spot, and maybe some more random spider characters.

Books a Million had plenty. $6.99 price tag though.

Theee left. 2 cyborgs spiders and one spider-byte.

$4.99 at LEGO.com

Spending over $75 I think gets you Free Shipping too, so buying the max (16) at $4.99 each gets you there…

Except their blind bags…so you could get 16 of the same
Character. What then?

You will get doubles or even triples ordering blind until lego stops putting them in boxes by figure. Best bet if you don’t want duplicates is to buy the 6 packs. There are just two assortments. If you get lucky, you could have a whole set with two of these. Then you just play with them like there’s some type of multi-verse mishap going on duplicating all the Spider-Men/Women across the universes… Use your imagination!!!

I’m not convinced the Amazon route is guaranteed to get you 6 different figurines either… when reading the description:

“COLLECT ALL 12 MINIFIGURES – Each sealed mystery box contains a random selection of 6 characters from the Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse minifigures range, including popular favorites like Miles Morales/Spider-Man, Miguel O’Hara/Spider-Man 2099, and Gwen Stacy/Spider Gwen”

Seems as if they’re just throwing 6 mystery packs into a bigger package.

All I know is I gladly paid the $2 extra ($6 total) to get the last three figures I wanted.

Looking forward to finding more characters from other series. I personally prefer paying $5-$7 than having to buy a whole set just to get a figure.

For example, I want a war machine figure, but the set is $15+.

Wish they’d make a classic Robin from the 60s series in a cheap set to go with my Batmobile.

I have seen people order a case of Funko Pops off Amazon to get the chase figure and then all six come in regular. They take them out of the boxes and put them on a shelf.

Robin is just around to kill off… that’s his only purpose in the Batman Universe…

Actually, doesn’t seem random at all unless these guys are just unlucky

The new series of mini figures is Spider-Man Across the Spider-Verse.

They released the greatest mini-figure ever.
